Previously, after the poster of this lecture was exposed on the Internet, it caused an uproar, triggering a "dispute between true and false science" on an online Q&A platform.

At 10:00 a.m. on the 10th, the lecture was held as scheduled, the popularity of the scene was extremely hot, the audience far exceeded the organizers' expectations, the scene was comparable to the "star meeting", and a small range of chaos occurred at one time.

A large audience waited outside the lecture hall for admission.

Xiaoqing (ID: youthzqw) entered the lecture hall after waiting in line for 1 hour, when the lecture hall was already full of people, and many people stood outside the door to listen to the lecture.

A college student at the scene said: "I saw the relevant discussion in the WeChat group, and then I came to see what was going on. Another person said, "I am doing this, in order to listen to today's lesson, I came by plane." ”

What is the content of such a popular lecture?

Academician Zhu Qingshi said at the beginning of the lecture:

Over the past ten years, while learning medical and biological knowledge related to the human body, I have tried to observe true qi with my own body in order to use modern scientific language to more accurately describe true qi and meridians. The content of today's lecture is an experiment I did with my own body, and the preliminary test results show that the true qi and meridians of Chinese medicine may exist, but they need to be studied in new ways.

Subsequently, Academician Zhu discussed the two major themes of "the process of discovering True Qi himself" and "explaining the source and efficacy of True Qi".

Zhu Qingshi: Cultivating True Qi produces great happiness

Zhu Qingshi said that Zen can definitely raise true qi in the body, and since 2004, he has spent some time every day practicing the Ampapana breathing method in the Dharma Zen Sutra, until he stepped down from public office in 2014, and his heart really calmed down.

He described the process this way:

Entering meditation, adjusting breathing, and guarding the sea of qi, you can gather the qi of the whole body there, form a strong air mass with strength, and slowly float in the sea of qi. The mind can manipulate this air mass, but when the mind allows it to stay in the sea of qi, it will suddenly erupt after holding the sea of qi for a while, surging on the ground uncontrolled by the mind, and ascending along the spine (midrib). When the air mass reaches the waist cone, there is a hot and spicy pain, but it is very comfortable; when it reaches the large vertebrae, it is often blocked, and it feels like it is struggling; it is often the case when entering the occipital bone; at this time, the fine adjustment of the body posture often helps the qi to pass; the qi to the eyebrow chakra will be blocked, and then the head will be shaken sharply...

Zhu Qingshi showed the effect of his experiment.

In the lecture, Zhu Qingshi showed his experimental effect alone, he said that true qi can produce strong physiological feelings, can make the body warm, no thoughts, and have great happiness. No matter how strong the physical feelings are during cultivation, afterwards they will be light and calm, their senses will be sharp, and their intelligence will be significantly improved.

Meditation on True Qi may be a more ideal cure

Is True Qi really so good?

Zhu Qingshi said, "True Qi only has a positive effect on the body! ”

He explained that true qi is actually the emergence of a large number of neurons, a queue of neurons running. Neurons are a type of human cell, so true qi should be something in the realm of consciousness.

He also took out the "Maxwell Demon" in physics to study true qi, and said that true qi keeps the human body in order, resists decay, and must get rid of the limitations of the second law of thermodynamics. He said: "At present, physicists have built Maxwell's demon out of electronic components, and I hope that interested people will continue to study it in depth, which requires the common progress of the TCM scientific community to figure it out." ”

Zhu Qingshi said that long-term meditation can change the structure of the brainstem.

On the question of whether True Qi can strengthen the body and cure diseases, in Zhu Qingshi's view, this is also possible.

He said that through meditation and true qi to optimize the function of neurons, and then achieve the effect of curing diseases. He also stressed that compared with artificial drugs, meditation on true qi has no dangerous side effects and can treat diseases more efficiently. Meditation true qi can also be used to strengthen the body, but remember the four words "use in and out", long-term meditation can change the structure of the brainstem, improve the function of the heart, lungs and other nervous systems.
