Hunt, also known as banana orchid, banana orchid, crisp orchid, black mountain cane, etc., belongs to the orchid family, brittle orchid large epiphytes. Morphological characteristics: stem stout, nearly erect, up to 1 m long, leaves nearly fleshy, banded, oblique, flower yellow with purple-brown stripes, not very developed, aromatic, sepals and petals nearly erect, petals narrowly ovate, lip petals white, thick fleshy, 3 lobes, capsules nearly erect, cylindrical or long spindle-shaped, flowering period 8-9 months, fruit period 10-11 months.
The second species, Schomburgkiabrysiana, also known as banana orchid, ant-habitat orchid, male orchid, Chamberklan, etc., belongs to the orchid family, banana orchid (Hunbergarland) perennial epiphytes, and dendrobium orchid is very similar, especially small species. Morphological characteristics: pseudo-bulb spindle-shaped or cylindrical, with 1 to 3 thick leathery leaves; the flower top is born, and the straight flower stem is very long, up to 1.5 meters or more; the number of flowers is large, and the petals are mostly spiral-shaped. Some varieties of pseudobulbs resemble bananas, some species have hollow stems, providing space for ants to live, and small holes at the end of the petals that secrete honey juice for ants to eat, which is a "ant plant" that symbiosis with ants, which is very special in orchids. 【Leaf difference】 The leaves of the multi-flowered brittle orchid are two columns, banded, fleshy, and mostly; while the leaves of the banana orchid are only 1 to 3 pieces, and more than 2 pieces are found.
【The difference between flowers】 The multi-flowered brittle orchid stalk is shorter (comparatively speaking), generally in 5 to 11 cm, the flowers are 5 to 10 flowers, the flowers are yellow with purple-brown horizontal stripes, not very developed, with aroma, the overall flowers are small; the peduncle of banana orchids is very long, can reach 1 meter 5, and the flowers are larger, the petals are spiral, very spectacular.
【Fruit difference】 Multi-flowered crisp orchid is easy to bear fruit, and the shape is spindle-shaped, very similar to small bananas, so this is also the origin of the multi-flowered crisp orchid called banana orchid. The capsule of the banana orchid has not been seen, so it is not discussed.

As for from the perspective of appreciation, the multi-flowered brittle orchid and the Hungarian Burkland are very ornamental, the leaves of the multi-flowered brittle orchid are neatly arranged in two rows, just like the Bandai orchid, the plant is tall and majestic, green and luxuriant; although the Hungarian Berkland plant is short, the expanded stem node is also very ornamental, and the flowering can be pumped to more than 1 meter, the flower is huge, the ornamental value is also very high, and it is worth cultivating and maintaining the orchid people.
