Li Chunhua grew up in the soil of the countryside when he was a child, introverted and lonely in his childhood, but with art as a friend, his hometown neighbors, busy farmers and idle farmers, he remembered it vividly, was the most painted image in the sketchbook, was admitted to the teacher training school to teach in the city, but paid attention to the villagers, searched for the figure of the migrant workers but did not change his original intention, this is the closest and strongest emotion in his heart. In art, he worked hard and made continuous progress, and he was admitted to the provincial education institute to enter the higher study class of Nanda University, and was carefully guided by famous teachers such as Gao Bainian and Lu Qinglong, broadening his horizons to explore the mysteries of the modeling of Western masters, grasping the pulse of the times, shaping typical images, and strengthening the creative principles of realism. Rooted in urban and rural areas, constantly infected by the dynamics of labor, the creation is also continuous, many times selected for provincial and national large-scale exhibitions, received widespread attention and praise, but also brought a lot of inspiration to Chunhua.

I have known Brother Chunhua for many years and have always been infected by his talent and diligence. In recent years, his pastel painting creation has entered its peak period, and his works have frequently appeared in major national art exhibitions, and he has joined the Sino-AMERICAN Association, and he is already a very influential young painter. As an art educator, his cultivation is comprehensive, and his main focus is oil painting and pastel painting, especially pastel painting. Its pastel painting language has both the shadow of the classic master's works and the taste of its master, Mr. Lu Qinglong, and the rich and passionate colors are brilliantly presented in the works of the two major themes of characters and scenes. Because his works are pasted into the people's livelihood, he has a real experience of low-level life, making his works grounded, the feelings expressed are real, the breath is simple, and the picture tension is full. There are not only classic elements of traditional painting, but also the aesthetic imprint of the times, and the demeanor is unique. The theme of Li Chunhua's pastel paintings is mainly peasants, or in the fields, or on the construction site, and the artistic shaping of the image of the people at the bottom is still one of the main themes of contemporary culture. Labor is the most glorious, the capture of the momentary happiness of individual labor, and the expression of happiness and satisfaction during group labor rest, full of gratitude for the times. In addition, the vomiting song for the most lovely person, the soldier, has always been a very fashionable topic, and in Chunhua's pen, the picture of singing and crying is also sometimes huazhang. Artistic beauty is the sublimation of the beauty of real life, the theme of artistic creation advocates to distance from reality, reflecting the artist's own feelings and thoughts in the current life, the work is not a simple resale of ordinary life, from Chunhua's works, you can appreciate the ingenuity of its selection of the topic and the insight of small things to see the big feelings.
Second, the composition is ingenious and the visual appeal is strong
In Chunhua's works, from its composition, we can appreciate her understanding and careful arrangement of the artistic language of points, lines and surfaces such as "position, potential, clump, skeleton, and border". The main, secondary and subordinate designs of the positions that the characters should occupy due to the theme of the work are reasonable, the character movement is very typical and the overall trend sense, the lumps are returned, the skeleton line has both local opening and closing, and adjacent staggering, rhythm coordination, orderly retraction, and a strict structural symphony. The treatment of the border, with the rhythm of color and clumps, the division is very artistic.
(3) Rich in color and wonderful details in brushstrokes
Judging from the use of color art in Chunhua's works, the clumps are clear, the tones are clear, the collocation is reasonable, the rhythm is strong and weak, and the relationship between virtual and real is handled very artistically. From the local details, there is a clear sense of brushstrokes. Pastel painting is an important basic painting in Western painting in addition to sketching, and it is extremely difficult to express the brush strokes reasonably and naturally according to the shape and scene. The color block texture embodied in The Chunhua brushstrokes can reflect a visual effect of breathing. It is a superb embodiment of the rhythm and poetic sensuality of color from the whole to the details. From this, we can imagine how a painter can express such a gorgeous movement of life in the era if he does not have great feelings and big patterns, does not have a real and delicate life experience, and does not have a sincere heart of asking questions!
(4) Realistic and freehand, the picture is contemporary
In the process of learning painting skills and tempering the expression of the beauty of life, Li Chunhua gradually and naturally acquired his own artistic style and language, which is related to his inheritance. The expression of the freehand and abstract nature of the works in realism is the commonality of the conscious artistic expression of contemporary painters (including Chinese painters), and in Chunhua's works, it is obvious that this is rare and valuable. In particular, the use of some hidden lines obviously borrows from the freehand brush view of Chinese painting. The use of hidden lines makes the character structure of the picture more contemporary. For example, the skin texture of people, clothing patterns, and the texture of utensils and tools in the works are not preoccupied with the real depiction of life, but according to the needs of the picture to be imaged. This makes his picture very artistic and out of the ordinary. In particular, when dealing with the background, it is simple without losing advanced details, and it has unique experience in the gray virtual reality treatment. The simplicity and flatness advocated in Chinese painting are presented differently in his pastel paintings. The natural and coordinated color language in the picture, especially the neat and affirmative use of large areas of large brushstrokes, makes the characters in his picture distinct, coupled with the application of the overall block surface, thus highlighting his inner handsome and unique artistic temperament and realm.
Chunhua is in the golden age, the youth is ambitious, but it is low-key, never slowing down the pace of its own questioning, I believe that it will have more poetic works presented to everyone, resonating with this wonderful era.
