In accordance with the spirit of the municipal flood prevention meeting, the Municipal Urban Management Law Enforcement Bureau launched the flood prevention plan in advance, held a special meeting on flood prevention, and did not rest on weekends. Emergency rescue equipment such as pump trucks, forklifts, and emergency power trucks were urgently dispatched to 11 flood-prone areas in the main urban area, and 24 rainwater pumping station pipelines were evacuated in advance to make comprehensive preparations for heavy rainfall. At 20 o'clock on the 18th, the heavy rainfall in the main urban area of the city began, and all the personnel rushed to their respective responsible sections for the first time, actively carried out rainwater drainage, dredging and drainage facilities, etc., cleared more than 2,000 water outlets, and dispatched 50 mobile pump trucks, emergency power supply vehicles, high-pressure water shooting trucks, forklifts, trucks, etc. After all-out efforts, there is no water in key sections such as various overpasses along the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, the area around Tianzeyuan, the high-speed rail station area, and the main road of the north extension of Fudong Avenue, and the traffic of vehicles and pedestrians is normal.
