On May 20, Beijing time, former Bulls big forward Horace Grant shelled Jordan in a show. Grant was unhappy with Jordan's portrayal of him as a whistleblower in the documentary The Last Dance, denying that he had leaked locker room information to Bulls reporter Sam Smith, but instead pointing out that Jordan had made his teammates private and Jordan was the whistleblower.
Sam Smith, a prominent Bulls reporter, published a book called "Jordan's Law," which mentions a lot of Jordan's privacy. Grant was unhappy with Jordan's accusations against him.
"Lies, lies, lies... If Jordan holds a grudge against me, then we solve the problem like a man," Grant said.
Grant noted that he wasn't the informant behind that book, that he and Sam Smith had been good friends, but that for the sake of the dignity of the Bulls dressing room, he would never divulge a personal feud. Grant also pointed out that Sam Smith had at least two informants to write Jordan's Law, but Jordan named him as a whistleblower.
Grant thinks this is Jordan's resentment towards him and will be cut off if someone says anything about him. Grant also gave the example of Charles Buckley.
