As the host city of the 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity, Kunming has formulated a green conference work plan, proposed carbon reduction measures, carried out energy conservation and emission reduction work, and created a low-carbon and efficient conference.
The city of Kunming has made a preliminary prediction and assessment of carbon dioxide emissions during the Conference, and the fifteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity is expected to produce about 23,962 tons of carbon dioxide.
