Ai Jing, born in 1969 in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, was admitted to the vocal music department of Shenyang Art School at the age of 16 and took the stage to tour with the Shenyang Song and Dance Troupe. When he left his hometown of Shenyang at the age of 17, the song "Shenyang, My Hometown" was popular all over the country. She later released her original album My 1997, which swept Asia and was hailed as the most talented female folk poet.
Ai Jing not only sang well, but also acted well.
