EO: How has the perception of the epidemic changed between different age groups about SARS in 2003 and the current COVID-19 epidemic?
Huo Nifang: SARS only focused on going to school and not going to school, so at home is basically a holiday state, the mentality is very relaxed; now it is completely different, the whole company has responsibility, will discuss with the company's senior management every week, if the resumption of work, what preparations are needed, on the other hand, how to ensure the normal operation of the company, how to reduce the loss to a minimum.
EO: How has the pandemic affected your industry and company?
Income will be significantly lower in February. However, the public's demand for short videos is increasing, so it will urge everyone to make videos under the conditions of ensuring safety. Office status has shifted online across the board.
Yi Ou: During the epidemic period, what adjustments have the company made to its organizational operations? Are you having trouble? And how to overcome it?
Huo Nifang: On the one hand, reduce costs. On the other hand, the use of online office software urges everyone to quickly adapt to the state of online office. In the beginning, I would be a little unable to find the gripper, not see everyone, not know how the work was, and worried that the team would become loose. Later, they all moved the work to the online system, which was clearer and more focused, and found that the work efficiency became higher.
Icohm: Company goals and personal goals for 2020.
Huo Nifang: The company's goal is to hope for steady growth. Breakthroughs in new areas. Personal goals, exercise thinking, hope to have greater progress in the way of thinking.
EO: In your opinion, what opportunities does this era give women?
Huo Nifang: Women in this era are more free and self-sufficient than at any time in history, and it is also this era that gives us the opportunity to express ourselves freely; the opportunity to exert greater value; and the opportunity to take on important responsibilities.
EO: After becoming an entrepreneur, what challenges do women face at work that they did not think of before starting a business?
Huo Nifang: All the challenges now, I didn't think about it before I started my business. Maybe if you had thought about it, you wouldn't have embarked on this path.
Eo: What would you like to say to your female employees?
There is no difference between male and female employees in our company haha. Excellent regardless of gender. So, I wish you all continued to shine.
