In the lecture, Tan Yuanyuan, Cai Yilei, a special expert of Shanghai Theater Academy, and Wang Yan, chairman of the Shanghai International Dance Center Development Foundation, together with three guests, talked about the story of the birth of "Swan Lake" and told the century-old course of this ballet classic. From the backstory created by Tchaikovsky, to the disadvantages of the premiere of the Bolshoi Theater in 1877, from the success of the Petipa version in 1895, to the different versions performed by famous artists from all over the world. Through the sharing of several guests, the audience members looked back at the birth of the dance drama "Swan Lake" and felt the enduring humanistic charm of the art classic.
In the lecture, Tan Yuanyuan also provided an introductory way for the audience to appreciate ballet through the analysis of the dance posture skills in the dance drama "Swan Lake". For a classic work such as "Swan Lake", its artistic value lies not only in the work itself, but also in its condensation of generations of artists' exploration of ballet art, and also shapes the aesthetic interest and technical skills of classical ballet. In addition to Tan Yuanyuan, famous teachers and celebrities in the dance industry, including Feng Shuangbai, Xin Lili, Huang Doudou, Zhang Lin, Xie Xin, Zhao Xiaogang, Tian Xiang and other dance masters, have all held classes for these campus leaders on the stage of the Shanghai International Dance Center.
