Zhou Jie is a national first-class dancer at Shanghai Opera and Dance Theatre and a representative of China's contemporary dance community.
Since the age of 15, he has starred in large-scale ethnic dance dramas such as "Banping Mountain", "Fengming Qishan", "Knife Club", "Mulan Fragrance" and so on.
In 1980, he participated in the movie "Hanging Curtains and Listening to the Government", playing the role of Li Fei, which attracted the attention of the audience.

In 1985, he participated in the TV series "The Reappearance of Miracles".
In 1987, he starred in the TV series "The King of Sulu and the Chinese Emperor".
