Movie Description: Due to a conversation with my classmate Sakura Yamauchi (Miwa Hamabe) in high school, I (Shun Oguri) eventually become a teacher at my alma mater. While chatting with student Kuriyama, I inadvertently remembered the months I spent with Sakura. At that time, I (Kitamura Shimakai) stumbled upon Sakura's secret. She suffered from a serious pancreatic disease, and at some point she began to write a diary of resistance to the disease. The illness did not knock down the lively and cheerful girl, but she showed an increasingly bright smile. In contrast, I live more in my own world and rarely interact with people. With the help of a diary, the trajectories of our lives were briefly brought back together. I spent a limited day with her until the joy came to an abrupt end...
The film is based on the novel of the same name by Sueno Night.
