The Three Gorges are seven hundred miles, but the Wuxia Gorge is long. Wushan County, Chongqing City, located in the heart of the Three Gorges Reservoir Area, relies on rich ecological resources and adheres to the road of innovative development of ecological revitalization leading global tourism. Here, there is the Wuxia Goddess Scenic Area with a total area of 76 square kilometers.

In the Wuxia Goddess Scenic Area, more than 50 kinds of rare animals and plants such as macaques, golden eagles, yew trees, and Chinese mosquito mother trees are full of vitality, natural landscapes such as rivers, streams, canyons, caves, forests and other natural landscapes are beautiful, and cultural landscapes such as the Goddess Temple and the Ancient Salt Road are interesting... For thousands of years, literati and inkers have lingered here and left behind masterpieces from ancient times.

Every autumn and winter, riding a light boat in Wuxia, but seeing a river above the turquoise waters, reflecting the steep canyon peaks on both sides of the river, the dazzling red leaves of Wushan Mountain in the distance stain the mountains and wild forests, like a piece of colorful Xia, and the landscape and water shine together, weaving a magnificent and beautiful beauty of Wuxia.

Since the launch of the Wuxia Goddess Scenic Spot in 2016, the cumulative investment has exceeded 1.67 billion yuan, more than 20 tourism projects have been implemented, and more than 100 landscape formats have been built. In 2020, the scenic spot passed the landscape quality review of the national AAAAA-level tourist scenic spot, and was officially included in the creation unit of the national AAAAA-level tourist scenic spot, becoming a bright business card for The opening up and development of Wushan County.

Nowadays, the north-south ring line of Wuxia Shennu Scenic Area has been completed, and the three gorges of water, land and air and the 360-degree ring line have become a reality. Walk on the Goddess Heavenly Road, watch the beautiful scenery of Wushan Mountain, "Dan is the clouds, twilight is the rain"; climb the Peak of the Goddess, bird's eye view of the magnificent Yangtze River, and walk through the endless red leaf corridors on both sides of the Wuxia Gorge; raft the Goddess Stream, see the strange peaks on both sides of the strait, and taste the culture of the goddesses... The beauty of Wushan And goddess scenic spots is stacked.

A river with clear water, green mountains on both sides of the strait, red leaves in the Three Gorges, four seasons of cloud and rain, and a thousand-year-old town. In recent years, Wushan County has adhered to the development idea of "combining mountains and rivers, integrating culture and tourism, and advancing simultaneously with water and land", taking the development of global tourism as the starting point, successfully holding the 14th Wushan International Autumn Leaf Festival, and singing the tourism brand of "Goddess Love City , Red Leaf Wushan".

Tourism revolves around ecology, infrastructure construction, scenic project planning, etc. revolve around tourism. Since December 2020, Wushan County has carried out the construction of Wuxia Goddess Scenic Spot in strict accordance with the national AAAAA level tourist scenic spot standards.

The infrastructure is more robust. Open the tourist line from Wushan County to the tourist center of the scenic spot, open up the traffic "artery"; build an ecological three-dimensional parking lot with an area of about 12,000 square meters, with more than 1,000 parking spaces, and set up 15 intelligent parking lots; start the improvement of the Tongjing Highway, connecting a number of beautiful villages along the way; install 160 scenic visual security monitoring and digital broadcasting, cover 125 scenic wireless AP, and build 150 kilometers of optical fiber pipe network, opening a new experience of smart tourism.

The scenic environment is even more beautiful. Start the comprehensive treatment of the village appearance and surrounding environment, dismantle, update and repair illegal buildings and broken signboards along the route, renovate and upgrade the courtyard, and extend the tentacles of tourism development to various villages.

The cultural atmosphere is stronger. In the process of promoting tourism construction, Wushan County has paid equal attention to ancient and modern, cultural tourism, and painted a beautiful picture of accelerating the integration and development of cultural tourism. With the help of elements such as goddess culture, gorge river and autumn leaves, the unified image logo of scenic spots is designed; the preparations for the Fifth Goddess Cup Art Film Week are fully launched; and the large-scale indoor fantasy show "Wushan Goddess" with the theme of goddess culture is launched to promote the creative transformation and innovative development of traditional culture.

During this year's National Day holiday, Wushan County received more than 912,000 tourists, an increase of 30.6% year-on-year, and achieved a comprehensive tourism income of 440 million yuan, an increase of 31.4% year-on-year. The number of ticket purchases in tourist attractions was more than 90,000, an increase of 87.5% year-on-year, of which the Wuxia Goddess Scenic Spot received more than 22,000 tourists.
