Law enforcement officers found that the so-called rice flour processing plant was located in a dangerous room, which was simple, and the production area was full of debris, and a large boiler was being produced in the middle, which obviously did not meet the conditions for food production.
After inquiry, it was confirmed that the processing plant was operated without a license and was a typical black workshop. Not only that, the law enforcement officers also found that a bag of 25 kilograms of aluminum ammonium sulfate, which is known as alum, was stored in the factory area, which was suspected to be added when processing rice flour. Law enforcement officers immediately sealed and fixed evidence at the scene, and sampled the raw materials and finished rice noodles at the scene for inspection. After testing, both the raw materials and the finished products of rice noodles were detected to have added alum, and the quantity was quite large.
At present, the manufacturer's rice noodles on the market have all been removed from the shelves and sealed. Next, the case will be handed over to the public security organs, and the producer may also face criminal penalties.
It is understood that the rapid discovery and disposal of this rice flour black workshop is mainly due to the Xinyu Food Rapid Inspection Center under the Xinyu Market Supervision Bureau. Since its establishment, the center has randomly checked more than 70 batches of food for sale in the market every day, and has networked with various farmers' markets and supermarket self-inspection platforms to summarize and analyze all data and publicize them.
