Wang Yangming: Conscience is connected to the Way of the Great Easy Conscience is connected to the four realms of life in the Way of the Great Easy

conscience is the way of the Great Easy

Yang Mingxin learning, the truth is very easy to understand, really rely on conscience to do business, that is, the ancients called "meritorious service", or it is quite difficult. Wang Yangming once sighed and said that what is simple and easy to conscience is like the palm of our hand, which can be seen every day. But conscience is also the most subtle, although we can see our palms every day, but we do not understand the texture of the palms.

After hearing Wang Yangming's words, his students said that they were afraid that conscience was a square and the most elusive thing. Wang Yangming then explained that conscience is the way of the Great Easy, and there is a "way of the I Ching that has changed repeatedly, changes and changes, six false flows, impermanence up and down, rigidity and softness, can not be a canon, but change is appropriate", conscience is like this, can be seen here, is a saint.

It can be seen that conscience does not know a dead thing, it is an instant induction of the present, and because the mind is selfless, this induction can be in line with heavenly reason everywhere. Wang Yangming once said that Su Qin and Zhang Yi, these two people can be regarded as wise people, good at speculating on human feelings, able to hit each other's key points, and their rhetoric changes endlessly. The reason is that the two of them have glimpsed the wonderful use of conscience, so they can do great things, but their conscience is distorted.

This kind of induction must be unbiased in the heart, that is to say, first of all, we must sweep away all kinds of attachments in the heart to wealth, fame and fortune. Wang Yangming once used various metaphors to describe, such as the mirror, he said, "like a mirror, the whole is brilliant, and there is no fiber dust stained." In the words of the I Ching, it is "pure and subtle", an intuition based on wisdom.

But if you say so, people now will definitely be like Wang Yangming's students, feeling that this thing seems to be vague and difficult to grasp. In fact, conscience is also divided into sizes, and there is no need for us to demand that our conscience and conscience can guide ourselves to do earth-shattering things. In fact, everyday life is full of applications of conscience.

If a thing is beyond the scope of our conscience, we will not handle it well, and if it is like this for a long time, we will feel tired. The glow of the fireflies can only illuminate the large area of the palm, the light of the electric lamp can shine far, and the light of the sun can shine throughout the world. Therefore, to the conscience, we must take one step at a time, and we must not be too ambitious.

It is not easy to make this mind purely natural, but we can start from daily things, which is what is called practice. We generally have the feeling that if something is within our means, we can handle it well and not be very tired. If we think about this process, we will find that in the process of coping, we do not follow any dogma, but use it directly.

In fact, this is conscience, for example, when we see a child fall, we will instinctively help him. But if we encounter something complex, we look ahead and don't know how to deal with it, because our wisdom is obscured by all kinds of inner calculations and desires, just as dark clouds obscure the sun, causing the sun to fail to shine on some parts of the earth.

We will encounter various things in life or work, how to face these things, there is no unified standard, the world is like a chess game, the game is different, which needs to rely on our current wisdom to judge. If our mind is purely natural, when we encounter things, we can use it as if we saw a child fall down and use it straight, without false second thoughts.

There are sixty-four trigrams in the I Ching, each of which symbolizes a certain life situation. Each gua also has six yao, each of which represents a different state of time and position. Sixty-four trigrams, a total of three hundred and eighty-four, it can be said that all kinds of situations in life are in it. When we first learn Yi, we encounter a certain situation like looking up a dictionary, looking up a certain gua, or a certain gua of a certain gua, according to the words and words in the scriptures, and then analyzing the current state, we can probably know what we should do.

But if the I Ching is regarded as a pure fortune-telling book, then the I Ching is regarded as small, which is equivalent to killing chickens with a cattle knife. Hu Xu, a famous Yixue of the Qing Dynasty, once said:

It should be known that the saying of Bu Zheng is the way for the saint to guide people to learn the Yi, and to its essence, then the origin of life, the unity of heaven and man... The saint was afraid of the depths of the path, or the middle of the way, so he sent his way to the bu zheng and let it be passed on forever. If Yun Zhou Yi is the book of Zhan Zheng, why did Confucius have the theory of exhaustive reason to the end of his life?

Wang Yangming's family has learned yi for generations, and Wang Yangming himself also likes to "play easy", and has also written a "Play Easy Nest Record", in addition, his poems often mention the study of Zhou Yi. Regarding the nature of Zhou Yi, he said:

Easy, the yin and yang of my heart are also moving; the movement is not lost, and the easy is in me.

It can be seen that the person who really understands the easy reason, this heart is the big easy, and it is in line with the heavenly reason everywhere. People who really understand the way of the Great Easy basically do not need to count everything as a trigram, because everything within the scope of his conscience can see through the context, antecedents and consequences of the feelings at a glance, and this mind does not move, and moves randomly. Just like under the sun, everything is clear.

In the "I Ching", it is said that "a few, the movement is small", see a few, in order to move randomly. To see a few, to see the subtleties of things, to have a conscience, to remove evil for good. When the conscience is as bright as the sun, it can be in danger like Mr. Yang Ming, and when it encounters difficult problems, it is actively resolved with wisdom, so it is said that the initiation of conscience is through the way of the great easy.

The Book of General says:

The silent and immovable are sincere, the feelings are connected to the gods, the moving is not formed, and there are few between the two. Sincerity and shrewdness, God should be wonderful, a few subtle things. Sincerity is a saint.

In fact, what is being talked about here is also the way of the great easy, to be easy, to bring conscience, sincerity is very important, those who are silent, sincerity. Silence can only be felt and passed, so the ancients said "insincere and nothing".

Wang Yangming: Conscience is connected to the Way of the Great Easy Conscience is connected to the four realms of life in the Way of the Great Easy

the four realms of life

The following article takes the four confucian realms of life as an example, and talks about the relationship between the kung fu of conscience and our human beings. From the Confucian standpoint, the human realm can be divided into four types: nostalgia, cunning, madness, and middle-line. The Bobok is the confucian ideal state of life, and there are very few people who really do it, followed by the crazy, second to the foxy, and the most inferior to the hometown wishes.

The truth is more abstract, and it is easier to understand if we put such a truth in a concrete situation. Suppose that there is a person in our unit who takes advantage of everything and breaks the company's rules everywhere, called Xiao Wang. At this time, different people will have different reactions to Xiao Wang's style of behavior.

If it is a hometown wish, he will meet Xiao Wang's way of doing things, never accuse Xiao Wang, and even praise Xiao Wang's cleverness. Sometimes Xiao Wang said right and wrong behind his back, and he would echo a few words.

But such a person will pose as a humble gentleman in front of a truly principled person and behave very selflessly. In short, such a person is the most tasteless, they are not guilty of both ends, often others can not say what is wrong with him, commonly known as the old and hypocritical people.

If he is a cunning person, he will not meet Xiao Wang when he sees Xiao Wang's style, and he will not do some unruly things with Xiao Wang, but will only keep a distance from Xiao Wang. The characteristics of the fox are not to do something, adhere to their own principles, have a little meaning of self-improvement, and the fox lacks the courage to take the initiative, such a person has a bottom line, but can not take the initiative to forge ahead.

There are many people in reality, and basically, the people we come into contact with are either wishers or foxes. If there are basically two kinds of people in a company, then the culture of the company will certainly not be much better. Good companies face conflicts and resolve them, and only in this way can they keep moving forward.

Good companies need to have crazy people, and they need to tolerate crazy people. If it is a crazy person, he will directly point out Xiao Wang's faults, and even let everyone know that Xiao Wang is destroying the company's principles and harming the company's interests. If Xiao Wang does not accept it, the true madman will not care, he will only do what he thinks is right, and will not suppress his inner feelings.

The madman has a domineering spirit, the cunning person has a clear breath, and the nostalgia is ambiguous and indistinguishable. But in the Confucian world, the madman is not the most ideal personality. Because crazy people sometimes don't understand power change, the key moment will be bad because of inhumanity. There is a passage in Lü Kun's "Groaning Language" that says it well:

The righteous will be unfaithful, and the loyal will not be upright. Upright people cultivate the principle and support the world; loyal people cultivate peace and cultivate the fundamentals. But those who stir up the scourge of the world, the righteous, and those who nurture the scourge of the world, the one who is loyal. These four words are both, but the time is holy.

Wang Yangming: Conscience is connected to the Way of the Great Easy Conscience is connected to the four realms of life in the Way of the Great Easy

Upright people, who can't tolerate sand in their eyes, see something wrong and behave badly, they will immediately point it out, and such people act in a folk way. Loyal people, pay attention to a group of harmony everywhere, do not create contradictions, act round, but everything without principle will break the rules, and the villain is more and more arrogant in this atmosphere.

Upright people, if they are not wronged, have an element of madness. Loyal people, if there is no bottom line, have a fierce component. The former often causes disasters at critical moments because they do not know the change of power, and the latter has a bad atmosphere because they do not know the rules. Lü Kun believes that these two kinds of people are good, but because they do not understand the "time" and do not know the changes of power, they cannot be thorough.

Only those who have a clean and transparent heart can truly achieve power and change, can they be upright without losing loyalty, and they can be loyal and adhere to principles. Failure to unify the two means that the kung fu of conscience is not yet home and cannot be thorough. Because there is also an element of selfishness in them, these partial selfishness obscures the original wisdom, so that they cannot see things thoroughly, cannot be thorough, and always care about one or the other.

The only person who is in the middle of the line can be "in the middle of the time", and the "time in the middle" mentioned by Lü Kun is the realm of the middle line, and it is also the result of conscience, and it can always fit the heavenly principles. It seems that the four realms of life mentioned above have nothing to do with conscience, but in fact, if we practice the kung fu of conscience in our daily lives, we will find that nostalgia and madness are both due to the lack of kung fu to conscience, because conscience cannot be mobilized, so wisdom cannot come out.

If the effort to the conscience is not at home, it cannot be "in time", because it is impossible to see the essence of things, and wisdom is obscured. Therefore, to see the micro-knowledge, to know a few like Gods, it is necessary to give conscience, and the kung fu of conscience has arrived at home, so that we can truly understand the path of the great easy.
