Xu Chu was the number one fierce general under Cao Cao, brave and fierce, extremely powerful, known as "Tiger Fool", and known as "Evil Come" Dianwei.
Xu Chu served as Cao Cao's bodyguard for most of the time, and Ma Chao once wanted to sneak up on Cao Cao on the battlefield, because Xu Chu was staring at Ma Chao from the side, and Ma Chao was too frightened to move. This is clearly recorded in the canonical history.

In addition, Xu Chu also saved Cao Cao's life many times.
Once in the Battle of Tongguan, Ma Chao raided Cao Cao in Weishui, when Cao Cao was leading his army to cross the river, crossing to the halfway point, Ma Chao led tens of thousands of elite cavalry to suddenly kill, arrows rained down, Xu Chu protected Cao Cao, got on a small boat, the bow and arrow did not have long eyes, even the boatmen were shot to death, no way, Xu Chu held the saddle in one hand to block the arrow for Cao Cao, the other hand held the boat, Cao Cao under the protection of Xu Chu, and finally escaped a disaster.
At that time, if there was no Xu Chu, Cao Cao would undoubtedly die.
Another time, Xu Chu escorted Cao Cao to the end, went home to rest, but Xu Chu, who returned home, fidgeting, always felt unsteady, so he returned to Cao Cao's mansion, just went back, he saw a person named Xu He, his face was not right, it seemed that there was a suspicion of assassination, Xu Chu immediately decided, quickly killed Xu He and others, a check, sure enough, Xu He was carrying a sharp blade.
If Xu Chu arrived one step late, Cao Cao would also die.
Cao Cao was very fond of Xu Chu, because Xu Chu was loyal and courageous, and Cao Cao also trusted Xu Chu, and made Xu Chu a general of Wu Wei Zhonglang, and later promoted to a stalwart general.
When Cao Cao died, Xu Chu was very sad and cried until he vomited blood. The Chronicle of the Three Kingdoms, The Biography of Xu Chu, records: Taizu Beng, Chu Wept European Blood.
It can be seen that Xu Chu was loyal to Cao Cao.
After Cao Pi usurped the Han Dynasty, established the state of Wei, and proclaimed himself emperor, he made Xu Chu the Marquis of Banzai Ting, promoted him to the rank of general of Wu Wei, and continued to let Xu Chu serve as a guard in the palace, that is, to command the forbidden army, which was a very important task.
After Cao Rui succeeded to the throne, he continued to treat Xu Chu kindly, and made Xu Chu the Marquis of Mouxiang and 700 households, and gave Xu Chu's son the title of Marquis of Guannei.
After Xu Chu's death, he was honored as "Marquis Zhuang". It is the same as the title of the fifth son of the good general.
Throughout his life, Xu Chu was treated favorably by the three generations of emperors of Cao Wei and was highly respected.
However, after Xu Chu's death, he never entered Cao Cao's temple court, that is, he did not deserve to enjoy the Taimiao Temple.
In July of the fourth year (243), the Wei emperor Cao Fang issued an edict to make a large number of civilian and military generals worthy of the Taimiao Temple, among which many people were selected, such as Cao Zhen, Cao Xiu, Cao Hong, Xiahou Yuan, the five sons of liang generals, Li Dian, Wen Ping, Pang De, Dianwei, and even such military generals as Zhu Ling and Zang Ba, but there was no xu Chu's name.
Xu Chu was loyal and courageous all his life and failed to enjoy the Taimiao Temple, which has to be said to be a pity.
