Xiao Tong has been reading the scriptures since he was a teenager. Literary achievements are quite high, and the earliest surviving collection of Han poetry, "Selected Writings of Zhaoming", is the responsibility and organization of Xiao Tong.
It is rumored that Crown Prince Xiao Tong had one year of practicing at Gu Mountain. Gu Shan built the "Xiangshan Guanyin Zen Temple", and a first-floor pavilion was built in the temple, named "Wenxuan Building".

Before the crown prince returned to the dynasty, he had promised that when he stabilized the situation, he would welcome her back to the palace in a pogai incense car. Before he left, the woman gave him two red beans. Xiao Tong has been gone for many years.
So many days and nights passed, and the woman finally fell in love. When the prince arrived, it was too late, and he wept bitterly, planted a pair of red beans with tears, and left with lovesickness and sorrow.
This tree once decayed into a dead tree after thousands of years to the Yuan Dynasty, but during the Qianlong period, four new branches suddenly sprouted on the main trunk, which grew until modern times, like an old tree with a dragon. The green cover is like a shade, full of life.
Later, some people said that the prince died of depression because of this matter, and some people said that he was highly successful, and then his legs were injured due to an accident, and finally became ill. He died in 531 at the age of Chinese New Year's Eve.
