Qin Keqing's room furnishings, Cao Xueqin borrowed Jia Baoyu's eyes to write extremely meticulously, so that people are confused why it is so "luxurious"? Every kind of furniture that has a lot of potential seems to foreshadow something. According to the writing characteristics of "Dream of the Red Chamber", there is no doubt that these furnishings have allegorical meanings. This article takes a paragraph to say that Qin Keqing slept in the bed, why is it "the bed where Princess Shouchang lies in Her Highness Hanzhang"?

On the case (the fifth time) is a treasure mirror set up in the mirror room of Wu Zetian that day, and on one side is a gold plate on which Fei Yan has danced, and the plate contains a papaya that An Lushan threw and injured Tai Zhen's milk. Above it is the bed where Princess Shouchang lies under Her Highness Hanzhang, and hanging is a joint bead tent made by Princess Tongchang. Bao Yu smiled and said, "It's good here!" Qin Clan smiled, "I can probably live in this room." ”
Regarding the many furnishings of Qin Keqing's room, Li Yanzhai saw it clearly, [Jia Shu side comment: Set up a ridicule ear, if you really think so, it will be hidden by the author. This means that although the furnishings in Qin Keqing's room are gorgeous, they are by no means antiques used by those historical celebrities. It is just an analogy that Cao Xueqin used to "set up ridicule".
Li Yanzhai said it well. Qin Keqing's room was her marriage room with Jia Rong. The two were married not long ago, and the interior furnishings were naturally fragrant and beautiful, which was in line with Jia Baoyu's taste of pink silk. Moreover, Qin Keqing's room belonged to the luxurious taste of Ning Guofu, but it was not her personal preference.
However, since the author describes many furnishings in detail, there must be "settings", not just ridicule. Cao Xueqin is the best at metaphors, and the furnishings here are undoubtedly crucial.
Before saying "The bed where Princess Shouchang slept", we must first understand what these furnishings are metaphorical, in fact, the answer is very simple.
Jia Baoyu dreamed of the too illusory realm, and as soon as he entered Qin Keqing's room, he fell asleep, and Qin Keqing guided him to the too illusory realm. In fact, Cao Xueqin's design of Qin Keqing's room is too illusory in reality. It is for "when it is false, it is true and false, and there is nothing to do." ”
Qin, metaphorical love. "Evil sea love day" also.
Too illusory, with the main idea of love. Borrowing Qin too false metaphor also. It also proves that the main theme of the love of "Dream of the Red Chamber" originates from the "love in words" of the Northern Song Dynasty poet Qin Guan:
As soon as the golden wind and jade dew meet, they will win countless victories in the world;
If the two loves are long, they are in the twilight of the dynasty.
The previous sentence corresponds to the marriage of gold and jade, and the next sentence corresponds to the love of Bao Dai. There is also a so-called Qin Taixu couplet in Qin Keqing's room, "Tender Cold Lock Dream Because of Spring Cold, Aroma Cage People Are Wine Aroma", which corresponds to Qin Words, metaphorically Bao Daichao.
Qin Keqing's room was too illusory in reality, and the metaphors of those furnishings in the room undoubtedly pointed to the Jinling Twelve Nobles who appeared in the too illusory realm.
If you carefully count the people, things, and things mentioned in Cao Xueqin's description, there are no less than twelve. They correspond to the Jinling Twelve Characters.
Now back to Qin Keqing's bed, "Princess Shouchang is lying on the bed under Her Highness Hanzhang." Here I don't know why an error occurred. Because the princess who slept in the Hanzhang Hall in history was not the Princess Shouchang of the Tang Dynasty, but the Princess Shouyang of the Southern Dynasty Liu Song.
The Taiping Imperial Chronicles quote the Miscellaneous Five Elements Book: "Princess Shouyang, the daughter of Emperor Wu of the Song Dynasty, lies under the eaves of the Hanzhang Hall, and plum blossoms fall on the princess's forehead, and there is plum blossom makeup after that." ”
Princess Shouyang slept in Her Royal Highness Hanzhang, and her forehead was dyed by Luo Mei, which was the origin of plum blossom makeup. Plum blossom makeup is sensational, popular for thousands of years, even now many performances often see the figure of "plum blossom makeup", which is actually the most widely spread and longest-standing forehead makeup in ancient China.
Qin Keqing naturally could not sleep in the bed of the real Princess Shouyang. Cao Xueqin borrowed her bed to quote the allusion of Princess Shouyang to allude to one of the Twelve Noble Houses of Jinling. There are two main allusions to Princess Shouyang:
First, plum blossom makeup is a clue.
Second, it is said that Princess Shouyang was very luxurious when she was a teenager, and the decoration was luxurious. Emperor Wu of Song was worried about his daughter's arrogance and lavishness, so he disciplined her to advocate frugality, cultivate virtue, and not be a person with a "red face and bad water". Princess Shouyang listened to her father's teachings, and indeed became simple and focused on cultivating morality.
Is there anyone in the Twelve Nobles of Jinling who meets the two clues of Princess Shouyang? I believe that people who are familiar with the characters in the book will think of Li Yi for the first time. When Li Feng appeared, Cao Xueqin introduced her like this:
(The fourth time) It turned out that this Li clan was Jia Zhu's wife. Although Zhu died, he survived a son, named Jia Lan, who is now five years old and has enrolled in school to study. This Li clan is also the daughter of a famous eunuch in Jinling, whose father's name is Li Shouzhong, who once served as a liquor supervisor for the sons of the country, and there are men and women in the clan who do not recite poems and read books. Since Li Shouzhong inherited, he said that "a woman has virtue without talent", so when he gave birth to Li Shi, he did not make him read very much, but only put some three or four kinds of books such as "Four Books of Women", "Biography of Lienu", "Collection of Xianyuan" and so on, so that he could recognize a few words, remembering these few virtuous women in the previous dynasty, but only to spin the well as the main thing, because the name was Li Yi, the character palace cut. Therefore, although this Li Feng was young and widowed, in the midst of the anointing of sorghum at home, he was like the dead ash of the mallet, he saw nothing and knew nothing, only knew that the waiter's relatives and adopted sons, and the outside was only to accompany the waiter's sister-in-law and other needles to read.
Li Yi's father taught Li Feng that "a woman has virtue without talent", which is no different from emperor Wu of Song's cultivation of princess Shouyang virtue. And Li Yi is outstanding in virtue, the young man is widowed, and he respectfully obeys the etiquette and morality. The original text says that Jia Mu and Lady Wang "like Li Fengxian hui, and they are young and observant, which is convincing", which shows that Li Yi's virtue is just like the cold plum in the snow "Ling Han opened alone".
At the sixty-third time when the group feasted on the flowers, Li Feng's flower sticks were exactly "plum blossom sticks", and the bamboo hedge hut was willing to be happy. Highlight her virtues and upbringing.
Cao Xueqin greatly admired Li Feng's virtues, and praised her for not forgetting her original intention to educate Jia Lanchengcai after raiding the Jia family:
The new green adds raccoon to the place, and the good cloud fragrance protects the celery people.
With the praise of "Poetry", "Wind" and "Ya", even Lin Daiyu and Xue Baochao did not have such a high evaluation!
In Qin Keqing's room, "Princess Shouyang slept on the bed of Her Highness Hanzhang", it is an allusion to the use of plum blossom makeup and Emperor Wu of Song's education of her daughter's virtue, a metaphor for Li Feng in the Twelve Noble Houses of Jinling. Qin Keqing's room is the "too illusory realm", and other furnishings also have different metaphors, not exclusive to Qin Keqing, let alone her identity metaphor.
