Toyotomi Hideyoshi was born into a poor peasant family in Nakamura, Aichi County, Owari Kingdom, and belonged to the rank of a thorough untouchable, lower than that of farmers, workers, and merchants, so he did not even have a surname, only a name, called Hiyoshi Maru, note that this Hiyoshi was not a surname, and later did not call himself "Kinoshita" until after marrying Ning Ning, and changed his name to Kinoshita Fujiyoshiro after becoming a samurai under Oda Nobunaga.
It is said that Toyotomi Hideyoshi became a samurai thanks to Ning Ning, whose biological father was the Oda family samurai Sugihara Teitoshi, who was sent to raise by his aunt when Ning Ning was very young, and her uncle was Asano Nagakatsu, the head of the Asano family, who was a pawn leader under Oda Nobunaga, and Toyotomi Hideyoshi happened to be a small soldier under Asano Nagakatsu.
However, because Toyotomi Hideyoshi was brave and intelligent, he was very much appreciated by Asano Nagakatsu, so he married Ning Ning to Toyotomi Hideyoshi; although Asano Nagakatsu was only a pawn leader at the time, he was also a samurai class and had certain powers; with the help of Asano Nagakatsu, Toyotomi Hideyoshi finally succeeded in standing out and won the appreciation of Oda Nobunaga, not only becoming a samurai, but also increasing his status.
It is also strange to say that this Toyotomi Hideyoshi was born in a humble place, and it is reasonable to say that he could not learn martial arts, let alone study, but he seemed to be born proficient in martial arts and martial arts, relying on military achievements, Toyotomi Hideyoshi was named the lord of Omi Kingdom at the age of thirty-seven, and led Asai to lead 220,000 stones of the north Omi, renamed the castle Nagahama Castle, and began to rank among the warring states. He then changed his name from Kinoshita Fujiyoshiro to Hideyoshi Hashiba.
Before the Honnoji Rebellion, Toyotomi Hideyoshi had become a very high-ranking super-lord under Oda Nobunaga, and his power in controlling the Kyoto area after the elimination of Mitsuhide Toyomitsu soared; after Oda Nobunaga's death, factions split within the Oda clan, mainly into factions such as Shibata Katsuya, Oda Nobunaga, Oda Nobutaka, and Toyotomi Hideyoshi. After defeating his opponents, Toyotomi Hideyoshi succeeded in ascending the throne and inheriting the legacy left by Oda Nobunaga.
After that, Toyotomi Hideyoshi continued to fight, conquering Tokugawa Ieyasu, Shikoku Nagamasa Ibu clan, and Etsuchinaka Sasa Narimasa; originally Toyotomi Hideyoshi wanted to become a great general of The Seisei, but under the persuasion of the Secretary of State, he turned to the imperial court to ask for the title of Guanbai; for this reason, Toyotomi Hideyoshi once planned to recognize former Sekibai Konoe Maehisa as his righteous father and get the surname of "Konoe"; the imperial court allowed him to become the son of Konoe Maeisa and take up the post of Sekibai, and at his request gave him a new surname "Toyotomi".
Why can't Toyotomi Hideyoshi become a shogun? Why bother to become Guan Bai after becoming the son of the former Guan Bai Guards for a long time? In fact, to put it bluntly, toyotomi Hideyoshi's original identity was too humble; and although Toyotomi Hideyoshi was in power at this time, his inner inferiority had never been eliminated. In his later years, when Toyotomi Hideyoshi had his autobiography "Records of Sekibai Renguan", he deliberately indicated in the article that his mother was the daughter of The Prince of Nakanayan, who was pregnant while serving the emperor in the imperial court, and gave birth to himself.
What does that mean? In fact, the meaning is very clear, he wants to say that he is actually the emperor's illegitimate son. But this statement does not stand up to scrutiny at all, because Toyotomi Hideyoshi's biological father was originally a poor peasant family, and his mother Azhong was only a very ordinary country woman, who had lived in the village before Toyotomi Hideyoshi developed and never went out, so how could she be the daughter of the secretary of state? If she is really the daughter of the secretary of state, no matter how depressed she is, she will not marry a poor peasant family, right?

Fortunately, Toyotomi Hideyoshi's biological father had died long ago, and her mother would not have had the opportunity to see his autobiography, otherwise she would have been directly angry.
