Jin Nong (1687-1763), zi Shou Men, Si Nong, Ji Jin, Mr. Dong Xin, Ji Liu Shan Min, Qu Jiang Wai Shi, Xi Ye Ju Shi, Shou Dao Shi, etc., Qiantang (now Hangzhou, Zhejiang), cloth lifelong. Qing Dynasty calligrapher and painter, the first of the eight monsters of Yangzhou. Because his life went through the three dynasties of Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong, he was self-styled as the idle name of "Old People of the Three Dynasties".
He travels well, but he doesn't come back with anything. Late in Yangzhou, selling calligraphy and painting for self-sufficiency. Curious and studious, he works in poetic calligraphy, poetry is ancient and peculiar, and is good at identification. Calligraphy creates a flat pen style, which has both a italic and a subordinate posture, and is sometimes called "lacquer book". He didn't paint until he was fifty-three years old. His paintings are strangely ancient, and he makes good use of light ink dry brushes for floral sketches, especially painting plums.
Most of Jinnong's life has been spent in ups and downs, and sometimes "thousands of gold are also scattered at will." In times of hardship, he also had to rely on selling antiques, copying Buddhist scriptures, and even carving stones to increase his income, and also entrusted Yuan Ming to write colored lanterns, and Wang Chang wrote "Poetry of Pu Brown Mountain House" to record Jin Nong, "Temperament is steep, and the world is often pedantic." However, when you meet a comrade, you can't help but feel comfortable with yourself." Died at the age of seventy-seven, and one was seventy-eight.
Jinnong is erudite and talented, curious and ancient, and collects thousands of volumes of golden stone writing. Fine seal carving, appreciation, good at painting bamboo, plum, kurama, Buddha statues, figures, landscapes. Yu Jing Mo Mei. The plum blossoms are full of flowers, full of vitality, quaint and simple.
Jinnong has a wide range of friends, from famous secretaries of state and rich tycoons to the poor people who sell pulp and lead cars, and the three religions and nine streams are everything. He also has a strange temper in making friends. The people he despised not only did not speculate for more than half a sentence, but also repaid them with blank eyes, and they did not want to seek his poetry and paintings. And for good friends, never take people from rich and poor.
Among Jinnong's many friends, one was Zheng Banqiao, who lived in Yangzhou at that time, and the two liked to "talk about happiness with a cup of wine, forever and ever", "blind dates like gulls and herons in Tingzhu". Zheng Banqiao once said that "only Jinnong is good in Hangzhou.".
Jin Nong has the feelings of a romantic poet, a calligrapher and painter demeanor who does not trim the edges, and an unrestrained wild literati temperament. Secondly, Jinnong was poor in his later years, and although social reasons could not be excluded, they also had their own reasons. The income of the golden farmer is also quite impressive, but as a result, the old man has left all the walls empty and has no money to bury, which cannot but be said to be a tragedy.
