Located 2 kilometers south of the baotou new metropolitan area municipal government, at the intersection of Century East Road and Weishi 14th East Road, a new building has risen from the ground, which is the "new core" of the kinetic energy of the new metropolitan area - century 220 kV substation.
The substation is a full-house integrated automated substation, with three main transformers of 180 MVA, which bears the electricity load of the Baotou Municipal Government, the surrounding business circles and residential areas, and provides strong power support for the long-term planning and investment attraction of Baotou City.
With the rapid development of the economy, the electricity load in the new metropolitan area is increasing day by day, in December 2017, the Baotou Power Supply Bureau deployed in advance, investing a total of 336 million yuan to build the Century 220 kV power transmission and transformation project, further improving the power grid structure of the new metropolitan area, improving the safety and reliability of power supply, reversing the current situation of the power supply in the region nearly full load, continuously optimizing the electricity business environment, and promoting the steady development of the regional economy. At the same time, baofu optimized the appearance of the substation, and together with the surrounding buildings, it formed an elegant and beautiful building cluster.

In the process of helping Baotou to build a more beautiful and better new urban area, in order to effectively save land, Baowei has been discussed and studied many times, repeatedly demonstrated, and under the premise of ensuring safety, the quality of engineering design is strictly controlled, and for the first time in the system, a 220 kV cable with a length of about 57 kilometers is laid into the ground.
"The implementation of the century change cable into the ground project is very difficult, the underground pipe corridor is intricate, the 220 kV cable is hard and heavy, it is not easy to lay, there are 81 in the middle of the whole section of the line, the terminal head, we work day and night, continuous construction for 180 days, and finally about 57 kilometers of 220 kV cables, 10 km of 110 kV cable neatly and orderly laid in the urban comprehensive pipe corridor, to ensure that the streets of the entire new urban area are clean and beautiful." Wang He, the owner's representative, said.
There is no similar project to learn from this construction, and the design and construction are practiced in exploration. Bao Supply continuously optimized the design scheme and added new supporting auxiliary facilities such as new round pipe column brackets, which effectively improved the construction quality and process, and provided new ideas for the expansion of power supply projects in the rapid development of the city.
<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" data-track="63" > night battle high altitude for 27 days</h1>
From August 19 to September 14, Bao fu launched a 27-day "night battle" across the railway, adding another beautiful scenery to the night in Baotou.
The transmission line from Century to Machi is the main power line of century 220 kV substation, spanning a total of 3 railways in Baolan, Baoshen and Beijing Baoke, and 14 pipelines. Due to the particularity of the line channel, the no. 9 to no. 10 iron towers of the line cross the Baoshen Railway, the No. 13 to No. 14 iron towers cross the Baolan and Baoshen railways, and the No. 14 to No. 15 iron towers cross the Beijing Baoke special line railway, which is difficult to construct and has high process requirements.
In order to minimize the needs of passenger transportation and cargo transportation, the bureau actively communicated with the Hocheeth Bureau for many times, jointly formulated the construction plan, optimized the construction process, and finally determined that from August 19, the transmission line was carried out across the railway from 2 a.m. to 4 o'clock in the morning, effectively solving the contradiction between line construction and the safe operation of the railway.
"The construction time is only two hours a day, in order to speed up the construction progress, we organized more than 200 staff to work overtime to build, and the management personnel of the participating units have increased their supervision, pay close attention to the safety of the site, and realize the safety control of the whole process." Project manager Yang Ping said.
Line construction involves more risks in the four-level power grid, which requires the coordination of multiple staff, strict safety control, fully do a good job in risk point identification and analysis, pre-control measures, party members and cadres charge ahead, personnel at all levels are in place, organize the preparation of organizational measures, technical measures, on-site safety control measures, epidemic prevention and control measures and other special control measures and 9 special construction plans such as crossing the railway and live across 110 kV Madu, comprehensively control the safety and quality of the project site, and safely and efficiently promote the progress of the project. Fighting at a high altitude for 27 days at night, the battle penetrated the transmission line from Century to Machi.

"Now century change No. 1, No. 3 main transmission belt 220 kV I. female, No. 2 main transformer transmission belt 220 kV II. female, the operation mode returned to normal." At 22:00 on October 23, Machi changed the main value of Dong Yulong to give the dispatch back order, the century change was successfully put into operation, and Bao Bao won a "tough battle" that lasted for nearly 4 years.
Century change as an important link in baotou east-west power grid ring, each step of operation is crucial, start the transmission is divided into two parts, first send out 220 kV 4 lines, and then send 3 main transformers, 110 kV system and 10 kV system, after the bureau dispatching office power flow calculation, in order to reduce the impact of new equipment on the power grid, to ensure the safety of the power grid, it was determined that most of the reverse gate operation was carried out at night.
"Before starting the power transmission, we carefully check the status of the equipment, confirm that the protection device is in the input position, and ensure that the equipment is in a cold standby state at one time." Machi changed the duty officer Wang Kai said.
Bao Supply attaches great importance to the transmission work of century change, the production department, infrastructure department, safety supervision department, dispatch department, substation one, repair and test management one, transmission department and other departments work together to strictly control every link of power transmission, accumulative work of 47 hours, complete 1568 operations, century change successfully put into operation.
