It's official: Arsenal winger Nelson joined Feyenoord on loan for one season

On August 31, Arsenal officially announced that the team's 21-year-old winger Nelson joined Hoga Fayenoord on loan for one season.

Nelson, 21, made his first-team debut off the bench in the 2017 Community Shield win over Chelsea when he was just 17. He has now played 48 games for the Gunners' first team, contributing four goals and four assists.

Nelson joined the Gunners academy at the age of 9 and received his first professional contract in 2016. In the 2018/19 season he was loaned to Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga, where he played 29 games, contributing 7 goals and 1 assist. After returning to the team, he joined arsenal's first team in July 2019. On the pitch, Nelson can play as a left and right winger and attacking midfielder.

In the new Premier League season, Nelson played 19 minutes off the bench against Brentford for the Gunners.
