Ingredients required: 100 grams of millet, 40 grams of dates, 10 grams of dried lilies, 120 grams of yam, 25 grams of brown sugar or rock sugar, 15 grams of brown sugar, and an appropriate amount of water
Preparation steps:
1. Soak the millet twice for about half an hour, soak the dried lilies five or six hours in advance, wash and twist the dates and set aside.
2. The yam is scraped off the outer skin and cut into hob pieces, washed and soaked in water to prevent oxidation and discoloration, or soaked in dry iron stick yam tablets for 5-6 hours.
3. Add a sufficient amount of water to the millet and cook until boiling and stir evenly, add the yam to reduce the heat and cook for 15-20 minutes.
4. When the yam is cooked until it is 8 or 9 minutes cook, add the lilies and red dates and continue to cook for about 10 minutes.
5. Finally add the brown sugar, stir well until completely melted.
6. Wait for the millet grains to be boiled until the drum is swollen, the yam is soft and cooked, and the porridge is viscous and turn off the heat.
