Chen Fuliang was a famous thinker, writer, and politician of the Southern Song Dynasty, and an academic giant of the Yongjia School, who advocated Confucianism all his life, devoted himself to writing books and teachings, inherited and developed the Chen Theory of Meritorious Service, and finally formed the Yongjia School, which was three-legged and famous throughout the country with Zhu Xi Daoxue and Lu Jiuyuan's Xinxue.
Chen Fuliang Memorial Hall is located in Chenzhai Village, Tangxia Town, Ruian City, covering an area of 6,000 square meters and a construction area of 1,980 square meters. The Chen Fuliang Memorial Hall is a five-story three-storey courtyard-style antique building, with an exhibition hall on the first floor, a total of eight units, exhibiting Chen Fuliang's life deeds, academic thoughts, and other "Yongjia School" related contents, in addition to some contemporary famous ink treasures. On the second floor, there is a screening hall, a research room and a library.
Yongjia County Yubei Armed Uprising Memorial Pavilion
The Memorial Pavilion of the Armed Uprising in Yubei Village, Yantan Town, Yongjia County, was built in March 1985 and consists of a memorial pavilion and a monument. The front of the memorial pavilion is engraved with the name of the pavilion inscribed by Wang Fang, the former secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee: "Memorial Pavilion of the Armed Uprising in Yubei". Because Yubei Village was once one of the central areas of the Activities of the Red Thirteenth Army during the Agrarian Revolutionary War. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, it was the main station of the Oubei County Party Committee. On March 2, 1945, the Oubei County Party Committee was stationed in Yubei Village, Yongjia County, and the Kuomintang Yongjia County Garrison tried in vain to sabotage the organs of the Oubei County CPC Committee, and the Yubei militia took up muskets and hoes to attack the stubborn troops who were passively resisting the war, actively opposing communism, and oppressing the people, and handed over the weapons of the Yantan Township Public Office and the Xikou Police Station, which is known in history as the "Armed Uprising in Yubei".
Taishun County National Ince University Memorial Hall
