Municipal forest defense refers to making every effort to prevent and deal with windy weather

On the morning of October 9, the Municipal Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for high winds, and from the night of the 9th to the 10th, the city was affected by the windy weather, with an average wind strength of 4-6 and a gust of wind above 7 levels, which had an adverse impact on forest fire prevention. On the morning of the 10th, the Municipal Forest Defense Command Office dispatched the implementation of the measures to prevent windy weather through the video conferencing system, telephone and intercom system to the forest and grassland fire prevention headquarters of various districts and counties, the Huanan Forestry Bureau, the Beixing Farm, the Jinsha Farm and the forest farms affiliated to the city and county.

The forest commanders of each district and county reported on the presence of leaders and duty personnel on duty that day, the deployment of forest defense arrangements and the preparation of fire prevention, and the municipal forest defense office put forward clear requirements for the prevention measures of each district and county to deal with windy weather.

Municipal forest prevention refers to the requirement that when there is a windy weather of level 5 or above, all districts and counties should prohibit the use of fire in the wild in all forest edges, supervise and urge the townships and towns under their jurisdiction and forest farms to prohibit all wild fires in windy weather, strengthen the management of fire sources, and strictly implement the responsibilities of forest defense. It is necessary to strictly implement the system of 24-hour leadership with shifts and duty personnel on duty, and must not be absent or missed. It is necessary to attach great importance to the work of preventing and extinguishing fires in forests and grasslands, and strengthen supervision and inspection of townships, towns, and forest farms under their jurisdiction. The professional fire fighting teams of each forest farm should be stationed in front of the troops and enter a state of fire fighting and combat, and the fire patrol personnel should carry machinery to patrol, and report the fire situation in a timely manner, and resolutely put an end to concealment, underreporting, and late reporting.
