Since then, the top of shoushan mountain has never seen the king of bird cypress again, and when people hate county officials, they are more willing to go to Shoushan to celebrate the burning of corrupt officials.
In the middle of the Qing Dynasty, when Qianlong went down to Jiangnan and walked through Xiangcheng County, he heard about the Shoushan Cocktail Party and the Immortal Burning of the Bird Cypress King, stayed for a day, climbed the First Mountain to pay tribute to the Bird Bo King, and at the same time gave a poem to express his heart: "Sigh the first mountain is a bird juniper, in this life there is no chance to enjoy the blessings of the eyes, only hate the greedy officials to urge the scenery to end, do not leave Qing Shi to scold."
