Attached: Eulogy of Zheng Wenshui, commander of the 121st Division, at the memorial service of Quyang Commune in Jingxi County

Comrades: Today, it is with an extremely deep heart that we deeply mourn the martyrs who heroically sacrificed their lives for the motherland and the people in the fight to defend themselves and defend the frontiers, and express our high respect. Among those who made glorious sacrifices in self-defense were Comrade Wang Zifu, an old comrade-in-arms of our division and former deputy director of the Political Department of the division, Comrade Yin Jiaqing, former deputy director of the Division's Logistics Department, Comrade Shi Yin, former commander of the 361st Regiment Regiment, Comrade Zheng Zanzheng, former deputy political commissar of the 361 Regiment, Comrade Wang Bao, former deputy regimental commander of the 362 Regiment, and many close comrades-in-arms who had lived and fought with everyone; and militia and migrant workers who sacrificed their lives and forgot their deaths and actively supported the front.

Comrade Wang Bao, the "loyal soldier of the party," has always led the assault battalion to the forefront during the battle, and wherever the gunfire is the most intense and where there is danger, he will command the battle. In the anti-ambush battle of Kutun, he could have rushed out with the main force of the battalion, but the first thing he thought of was not himself, but his comrades-in-arms. Regardless of his personal safety, he returned three times to organize the mobilization of the wounded and sick who had fallen behind and the infirm comrades to follow the main force to break through. However, when he returned for the third time, he unfortunately fell into the hands of the enemy. In the face of the ferocious enemy, he preferred to die unyieldingly, fully demonstrating his noble qualities of infinite loyalty to the party and the people.

In order to buy time, the explosion hero Jiang Limin martyr quickly opened the breakthrough to ensure that the main force of the division penetrated deep into the enemy, he took the lead and blew up three bunkers of the enemy in a row, and when he was going to blow up the enemy's fourth bunker, he was shot and fell to the ground, shedding the last drop of blood for the people.

Feng Kanai, the commander of the 3rd Squad of the 4th Company of the 361st Regiment, in the Battle of Nalong, in order to cover his comrades to rush to the 425 heights and destroy the enemy, he used his actions to attract four enemy fire points and heroically sacrificed.

Zhen Xiahui, a gunner of the 362nd Regiment, fired 17 shells to hit the target, effectively supporting the infantry in battle, and he did not fall on his knees when he died, his eyes still attached to the scope.

Li Qinghai, commander of the guard company of the Combat Hero Division, and Wang Zhendian, a first-class meritorious hero of the division hospital, left the hope of life to his comrades-in-arms and the danger of death to himself at the crucial moment, and used his own blood and life to protect the safety of the chiefs, organs, and comrades-in-arms. These many martyrs who bravely sacrificed their lives in order to punish yuekou, defend the sacred territory of the motherland, defend our modernization drive, live happier and happier for the sake of the 800 million people, dye the banner left by their revolutionary predecessors more vividly, and sacrifice their lives at the expense of their own lives; they are worthy of being excellent sons and daughters of the Chinese nation, their death is heavier than Mount Tai, and their revolutionary spirit will shine with the sun and the moon and live forever with heaven and earth!

We must learn from the patriotic spirit and revolutionary heroism of the martyrs who are boldly loyal and loyal, who have the courage to dedicate themselves to the party, the motherland, and the people, and learn from the noble qualities of the revolutionary martyrs who put the interests of the revolution first, who care for the interests of the country and the nation more than the interests of individuals, and who care for comrades-in-arms and the masses more than for themselves; Learn from the martyrs' fine work style of carrying out orders, obeying commands, abiding by policies and discipline, taking into account the overall situation, and struggling hard.

We must turn grief into strength, inherit the legacy of the martyrs, always maintain a high degree of revolutionary vigilance, strengthen preparations for war, strengthen military training, strengthen the revolutionization and modernization of the troops, always be ready to heed the call of the motherland, and if the more we dare to invade again, we will give him a more severe lesson and punishment. We must further strengthen the unity of the whole party, the whole army, and the people of all nationalities throughout the country, carry forward the fine traditions, develop the excellent situation, and do a good job in army building. We must be modest and prudent, guard against arrogance and impetuosity, work hard, shoulder the burden left by the martyrs, and comfort the martyrs with practical actions to speed up the four modernizations.

Thousands of martyrs died heroically before us. Let us hold high their flag and walk on their blood!

The martyrs who fought back in self-defense and defended the frontier and died heroically will never die!

Rest in peace for the martyrs who gave their lives heroically for the motherland!
