Open the door and look at the peak, but there is no floating Lan's first weight. The color of the trees goes far away toward the mist, and the hibiscus appears from the cloud crossing. This is a poem describing the junction of Gao'an and Fengxin in Jiangxi Called Qiuling Mountain, don't look at this mountain is only a few hundred meters above sea level, but because it is located in the hinterland of the Ganpo Plain, it looks particularly dangerous and conspicuous from a distance, at the foot of the mountain there is a road from the south to the provincial capital Nanchang, during the Battle of Nanchang during the War of Resistance Against Japan, this place once became a strategic point for the Chinese army to compete with the Japanese army, especially the Nationalist 79th Army fell into the Japanese army's heavy siege in Qiuling, and the chief of military staff posthumously awarded Lieutenant General Wang Yujiu to sacrifice here. This mountain also once became a famous anti-Japanese mountain in the minds of locals.

Ridge today
On March 17, 1939, in order to open up the Xianggan Line, the commander of the 11th Army, Okamura Ningji, commanded the 101st and 106th Divisions, all the way along Yongxiu, Anyi, and Fengxin to Nanchang, and then opened the prelude to the Battle of Nanchang, at this time, Wang Yujiu's troops were ordered to deploy along the Xiushui coast, however, the Japanese army under the cover of 200 cannons, forced the crossing of The Water Repair, Wang Yujiu's nine troops fought fiercely with the Japanese army for 3 days, with more than half of the casualties.
In order to break the encirclement of the Japanese army, the troops of the 79th Army stationed by Wang Yujiu decided to attack the enemy on the Anfeng Highway, and the army headquarters advanced from Qifang through Luotian to launch a fierce attack on the enemy who was entrenched in Qiuling, general Wang Yujiu, for the sake of the safety of the whole army, lost his soldiers and braved himself, personally led the 584th Regiment and a battalion of the 118th Division to launch a fierce attack, and the two sides launched a fierce and bloody battle.
At this time, the Japanese army sent reinforcements to intercept it, and our army fell into the heavy encirclement of the Japanese army at Qiuling, at this critical juncture, and the military headquarters only had one special agent company, and the situation was extremely grim. Originally, Wang Yujiu did not have the obligation to be responsible for the battlefield, but he took the initiative to ask for help, he organized the military headquarters to break through, led the special agent company, waved troops to raid the Japanese positions, struggled to kill, lianke two hills, the enemy desperately resisted, bullets flew like rain, General Wang was not afraid, still took the lead.
The battle was extremely fierce, and because the Japanese army was too strong, his team failed to break through the Japanese encirclement from morning to noon. In the bloody struggle, Wang Yujiu was shot in more than one place, seriously injured, and when he was carried back to the military headquarters by his subordinates, he handed over the written will and relics to Commander Xia, and because of his serious injuries, his heart stopped beating that afternoon.
Before dying, Wang Yujiu remembered a doll kiss that his daughter had ordered, and asked his comrades-in-arms to help promote it, and then gave a poem, which included the verse "One bullet and one enemy, one inch of mountains and rivers and one drop of blood", and was only 37 years old when he was sacrificed. At the critical juncture of national peril, Wang Yujiu realized the aspiration of a soldier to wrap his body in Ma Ge and repay the country with his death, and was worthy of being a heroic martyr of the Chinese nation and a model of Chinese soldiers.
So, what happened to General Wang Yujiu's doll kiss to his comrades-in-arms when he was dying?
It turned out that on the eve of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression in 1935, General Wang Yujiu's wife gave birth to a daughter named Wang Wenli, and one of his good friends and comrades-in-arms, Lu Jingrong, who was then the chief of staff of major generals, gave birth to a son named Lu Yuepu, and the two fathers who were about to be good could not help but be happy, and they agreed to marry their children and relatives, and also advocated exchanging two children for raising. Watching them sit arm in arm on the stone steps, it can be said that they are relatives, which is the voucher for the two families to set up a doll kiss.
However, shortly after this photo of the doll was taken, the Ninety-eighth Division of the Eighteenth Army under Lu Jingrong received an urgent order to carry out military deployment overnight, leading his troops to sail directly to Shanghai by steamship, and he was ordered to serve as the first-line defense of Yuepu and Baoshan. After discussing with the brigade commander, Lu Jingrong immediately sent the third battalion to garrison Baoshan, the first and second battalions to guard Yuepu, and the command post to be located in Yuepu. At that time, the Japanese army threatened to capture Nanjing within a month, and Baoshan, although sparsely populated, was the most important position for the Japanese army to attack; and because Baoshan was located at the mouth of the Wusong River, it was even more vulnerable to the range of Japanese guns at the mouth of the Yangtze River.
At this time, the Japanese army launched a fierce attack on Baoshan. In one day, the city walls were repeatedly collapsed and repaired, reaching more than ten times. At the same time, more than 2,000 Japanese troops broke through the town of Wusong and pounced on Baoshan. Lu Jingrong commanded the team at Yuepu to take advantage of the enemy's unstable foothold, and used death squads to carry out a surprise attack, engaging the Japanese short soldiers and fighting hard; the defenders of the city used the city wall bunker to shoot fiercely, killing more than 200 Japanese troops. At this time, the Japanese army stepped up its attack, the battle was extremely fierce, and our army charged with a white blade and shouted into the sky, and the Japanese army was shocked. That night, a Japanese army landed from a fort, and the bloody battle lasted all night, and both sides suffered heavy deaths. The Japanese army was helpless, and gathered more than 30 warships, more than 20 aircraft, and more than 20 tanks, and concentrated on besieging Baoshan.
Lu Jingrong faced the serious situation in Baoshan and had no reinforcements, so he had to strictly order him to die. However, the Japanese ships shelled the fortifications of our army, the Japanese infantry flocked to the city, and more than 600 officers and men of a battalion of defenders were martyred. Baoshan fell, and the Japanese attacked Yuepu from Baoshan and Luodian. The Japanese took advantage of artillery fire and aircraft bombing to launch a rampant attack, and their positions were lost and regained. Lu Jingrong personally came to the forward position to command and supervise the battle, the battle was very fierce, Yuepu Town was already full of shells, a sea of fire, houses collapsed, residents fled, officers and men suffered heavy casualties, the Front Line of Yuepu was a sea of fire, Lu Jingrong calmly commanded the operation, and tried to save the crisis. Unfortunately, he was hit by enemy artillery fire and died at the age of 35. Also dying on the same day were all the officers and men under his command.
After Lieutenant General Wang Yujiu and Major General Lu Jingrong were both martyred, behind these two famous anti-Japanese generals, due to the war-torn years, the two mothers and children were displaced, and since then, the two families have lost contact with each other. When they reunite, it's been more than 70 years later.
Wang Wenli, who is in his seventies, meets with Lu Yuepu
Lu Yuepu held the portrait of his father
The two children in the photo are in their seventies, Wang Wenli and Lu Yuepu met, they both have families with each other, and their children and grandchildren are in groups. Referring to the "doll relatives" of that year, the two old men laughed and sighed at the vicissitudes of the years, and even more nostalgically remembered the fathers who sacrificed heroically for national liberation and the happiness of the people, and their heroic deeds will always be remembered, as a descendant of a revolutionary martyr, we must cherish the hard-won peace, but we must inherit the national spirit of self-improvement.
