The occurrence of venous thrombosis during the patient's hospitalization involves almost all clinical departments, and runs through all the diagnosis and treatment activities of the patient from admission to discharge, especially the occurrence of fatal pulmonary embolism in the hospital, which has posed a major hidden danger to the patient's recovery.

Venous thrombosis is a preventable and treatable disease, active and effective prevention can significantly reduce its incidence, and standardized diagnosis and treatment can significantly reduce its case fatality rate.
