Urban roads crisscross each other, in the Jiang'an district, a total of 268 municipal roads, as well as a number of pedestrian bridges, underpasses, road damage may occur every day, how to ensure that it should be repaired?
"Every member of the team is an inspector." Over the years, Zhang Zhenguo has developed the habit of walking and inspecting, and the road section repaired on the same day was found when he inspected.
The municipal maintenance team of the Jiang'an District Chengguan Law Enforcement Bureau not only set up a special inspection team of 12 people, but also the rest of the maintenance team members are also part-time inspectors. Citizens have become non-staff inspectors, and can reflect problems at any time through the mayor's hotline and city message board.
Inspector Wen Shengli is in charge of the Huangpu Avenue to Development Avenue area, and his daily duties are to continuously patrol the main and secondary roads, main thoroughfares and back streets and alleys. Look at both sidewalks and car lanes, patrolling an average of 30 to 40 kilometers a day.

For the problems reported by the public or discovered by the inspectors, the municipal maintenance team carries out maintenance in batches within 24 hours according to the priority. For the parts with large safety hazards, the site will first carry out emergency treatment, and then carry out fine maintenance after preparing the required materials.
Construction is based on the principle of not affecting the public
In the maintenance section of Huangpu Avenue, the Yangtze River Daily reporter saw that there was a "road maintenance" warning sign behind the road section. The 4-meter-long sidewalk is separated by dozens of cones, leaving half of the road for pedestrians to pass.
Maintenance team member Cheng Zhiping is cleaning up the knocked bricks, removing the waste solidified sand, and then laying cement sand on the potholes, drawing lines to allow the water to be fully absorbed, and then re-laying the cleaned bricks. The patched area is flat, clean and integrated with the surrounding roads. "If the bricks are broken, we'll replace them with new ones." Cheng Zhiping said.
In about an hour, the team members have completed 6 road repairs. For the repaired road section, the road is then surrounded by cones and cordons to enter the road maintenance period. Immediately after, the team members walked along Huangpu Avenue to the next maintenance point.
"The driveway is the most troublesome. The night before, Zhang Zhenguo handled the maintenance of the roadway until the early hours of the morning before returning home. He introduced that the maintenance team generally misses the peak travel period at night, completes the mechanization work before 10 p.m., and completes the road maintenance by manual operation after 10 o'clock.
Since the beginning of this year, Jiang'an District has maintained more than 9,000 square meters of sidewalks and more than 7,900 square meters of roadways.
"One road, one policy" to create a highlight area
Urban road maintenance is only one aspect of the refined management carried out in Jiang'an District. Urban furniture is also related to the appearance of the city. Jiang'an District explores "home-style" cleaning, and adopts a combination of man and machine during the day, using small maintenance vehicles for circular cleaning. Citizens are overseers. If the public finds behaviors that affect the appearance of the city such as throwing objects in the car dealership, they can report it at any time, and the urban management team members immediately start a detailed retrospective investigation.
It is understood that by standardizing the management of excavation and construction of occupied roads, strictly investigating unlicensed occupation of roads, occupying roads beyond the scope of the period, and encircling but not building, implementing the responsibility of grid inspection and control, and vigorously rectifying a series of measures such as random parking and littering of shared bicycles, the efficiency of urban management law enforcement has also been further improved.
