Jueyu Village, located in the Jitai Basin of Luling County, Ganzhong Province, on the southeast bank of the Niu roaring River, is about 30 kilometers away from the county seat of Taihe County, Ji'an City. The village was founded in the Southern Tang Dynasty, formerly known as "Longyuan" Village, which has a history of 1,000 years.

Juyu Village is mainly inhabited by multiple surnames, first Zhu, Pi, Lan, Ding, and then Zhou, Kang, Zhang, Xiao and other surnames. Among them, the ancestor of the Zhou clan, Zhou Zhi (895~976), a famous water conservancy artist in ancient China, founded Chatanpi, which is the largest water conservancy project in ancient Jiangxi, and is known as "Jiangnan Dujiangyan".

According to historical records, in the last year of Tiancheng (930 AD), Zhou Zhi moved to Long Live Taihe (present-day Taihe Luoxi Town) with his son Zhou Xian and son-in-law Jizhou Shi Yang Dazhong. He observed the people's feelings and knew that the masses were suffering from drought and poor harvests, so he decided to build water conservancy projects.
According to the "Taihe County Chronicle" volume 18 "Characters and Zhou Moment Biography", in 937 AD, after years of planning, Zhou Zhi used his own surplus funds to create the earliest and largest Chatan and Diaoshi Erpi in Taihe County and even Jiangxi Province as Gongpi, stipulating that it could not be patented to the Zhou family, leaving an ancient inscription "Hawthorn Beach, Diaoshi Erpi for Tianji", which is a genuine product of the Song Dynasty.
Among them, Chatanpi "is a long hundred zhang, guiding the river water, opening the flood marginal note, in order to prevent the river from flooding and diverting, the name of the chatan", is the largest water conservancy project in ancient Jiangxi.
At the same time, the establishment of a sound ancient water conservancy project management system, so that although this water conservancy project has experienced thousands of years of wind and rain, it still plays a significant irrigation benefit, and is called "Jiangnan Dujiangyan" by experts. There is a text engraved on the Pi Dam, although it has gone through the vicissitudes of the years, it can be faintly recognized: "Spring ploughing and autumn harvest, Lu Lu to avoid the disaster of drought and fish; wheat gradually oil, Li Shu Song Yang Hou Zhide".
In 2013, Chatanpi was approved by the State Council as the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

During the Song Dynasty, the Zhou clan produced "one door and four scholars" - the three brothers Zhou Yi, Zhou Lun, and Zhou Wu, and their nephew Zhou Qingzhang. Later, there were midweek and middle-aged soldiers.
Emperor Taizong of Song once gave the poem "Brothers are recommended by parrots, uncles and nephews are total goldfish" as a sign of praise.
At the same time, in addition to the Zhou family, other surnames are also full of talents. Take the Jueyu Kang clan, for example, during the Song Dynasty, the defending general Kang Youzheng was the representative of the Jueyu Kang clan, who was deeply appreciated by the emperor and was named "Grand Sima ".
During the reign of Emperor Mingying and Emperor Xianzong, Kang Kui (courtesy name Congkui), the official of the Chenghua Emperor, paid homage to the Jingjiang Emperor ShiSi Zuo, and was soon later made a special envoy to the Fengzheng Dafu to revise the palace, and Kang Kui was also the teacher of Emperor MingXiaozong Zhu Youfan. He has been an official for 49 years, has written a lot of works, and has a plaque of "Guoshi Dafu".

According to the Kang family tree, there are 18 Jinshi of the Kang clan. In modern times, the descendants of the Kang family still continue the prominence and glory of their ancestors. For example, Zhu De's wife Kang Keqing (a native of Wan'an, Jiangxi) is a descendant of the Kang clan.
There are many more such examples in Jueyu Village. At the same time, it was the Wenchen warriors of Longyuan Village (the former village name) that were born, and during the Song Dynasty, they also received the attention of Emperor Renzong of Song, and the imperial court gave him the title of "Jue Chongyulong".

Later, the name of the village evolved into "Jueyu", and there is today's "Jueyu Village". According to statistics, there are as many as 42 scholars in the village of Jueyu in the past, and the humanistic magpie has risen, which can be called "the state of articles and righteousness".
In ancient times, the village of Juyu can be said to have reached the highest courtesy. But this family style did not disappear with the demise of feudal society.
