Recently, some photography enthusiasts photographed a bird in Shennongjia that had never been seen before. After the identification of Zhou Youbing, an associate researcher at the Institute of Botany of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and an ornithologist, the bird was identified as a white-browed blue-heeled bird, and later confirmed by the provincial bird experts Zhu Zhaoquan, Wu Hua and Li Xiang as a white-browed blue-browed bird, which was the first time it was found in our province.

According to this photography enthusiast, he was photographed at the Tianyan Scenic Observation Deck next to Shennongjia 209 National Highway, when it stood on a branch, looked around with its head raised, so it was photographed, and the photo showed that the bird's lower body was white, the back was blue, and the head, chest patches and wings were characteristic dark dark blue, with narrow white eyebrow lines.
The white-browed blue-bearded grebe is an oviparous bird found mainly in the Himalayas, northern Myanmar, southwest China, and winters in northern Thailand.
