Liu Xuecheng, chief physician of the Sichuan Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and his party, together with the staff of the CDC of Dazhou City and Kaijiang County, went deep into the rural field of Yongxing Town to lay rat clips, dissected the captured mice, took the mouse kidney culture leptospirosis, and took the mouse lung to culture the hemorrhagic fever virus.
Kaijiang Yongxing Town is a historical epidemic area of leptospirosis and hemorrhagic fever in Dazhou City, and the monitoring of rat density and the isolation of leptospiratory and hemorrhagic fever viruses are the basis for predicting the epidemic trend of the two diseases.
According to statistics, a total of 756 mouse clips were laid out in two nights, 728 effective mouse clips were recovered, and 103 mice were captured, including 22 haddock rats, 2 brown family mice, 1 small house mouse, and 78 Sichuan short-tailed shrews. At the same time, 50 isolated leptospirospires of pig kidneys and 100 copies of serum from healthy people were collected for leptospirosis antibody detection.
At present, samples have been sent to the laboratory for culture and testing.
