On September 29, the Yangquan Municipal Bureau of Planning and Natural Resources held a mobilization meeting for the special rectification of illegal construction within the scope of the city's natural protected areas, and arranged and deployed the special rectification work of illegal construction in the city's natural protected areas. At the meeting, the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection conveyed the "Work Plan on Carrying Out Special Supervision of Illegal Construction within the Scope of the City's Nature Reserves (Lands)" and read out the special rectification work plan. Focus on inspecting the illegal construction of high-end real estate, golf courses, occupation of cultivated land, and encroachment on the shoreline within the scope of natural protected areas. From September 2021 to October 2022, the special rectification will be divided into four stages: mobilization and deployment, problem mapping, self-examination and self-correction, and centralized rectification.
The meeting demanded, first, to enhance ideological understanding and strengthen organizational leadership. All units should further enhance their political standing and always adhere to the principles of on-the-spot investigation, comprehensive investigation, rectification according to law, and thorough rectification.
