Top news: Tottenham, Conte was abandoned by Tottenham due to transfer budget issues
According to the Daily Telegraph, Tottenham Hotspur are diverting their attention from Antonio Conte.
While initial negotiations looked promising, it now appears that the Italian's next club is unclear after winning the League one with Inter milan last season.
Sources from Italy said Conte began to doubt how much of a transfer budget he would get, after sources told that Harry Kane's future at the club was a key topic of discussion.
Conte led Chelsea to a Premier League title in 2016-17 but was sacked a year later after winning the FA Cup and finishing in fifth place. Prior to that, he won the Serie A title three times as a Juventus coach and led Italy to the quarter-finals of Euro 2016.
Despite the apparent breakdown in negotiations with Conte, Fabrizio Romano reported that former Juventus sporting superintendent Fabio Palatic would join Tottenham as the new head of football.

- According to Le 10 Sport, mauricio Pochettino is still likely to leave Paris Saint-Germain as former club Tottenham Hotspur are interested in him, as Conte's arrival is clearly impossible. The Argentine boss has been at the centre of speculation, reportedly eager to return to North London, but French media believe the deal will not end as the manager's entourage is still in contact with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.
Chelsea's Bakayoko are likely to extend his time in Italy as Romano claims Fiorentina are interested in his loan. The defender was loaned to Napoli for a season and made 32 Serie A appearances, but the 26-year-old does not seem to be able to get into Tuccell's plans at Chelsea.
Aston Villa are facing competition from Burnley striker Chris Wood, with two other Premier League clubs eyeing the striker. Eventon and West Ham United will join the battle for the 29-year-old striker, who scored 12 goals for Sean Deech last season, but Burnley needs a transfer fee of around £30 million, according to Football Insider.
Arsenal are following the situation of Inter Milan's Yuri Alberto. According to Brazilian media outlet Globo Esporte, the Gunners have been interested in the 20-year-old forward since his time at Santos. A transfer fee of €13 million will reportedly be required for the Brazilian to move to North London, but Arsenal could face competition from Barcelona, which is also rumored to be interested in Arsenal.

La Liga clubs continue to rebuild after missing out on the title last season, although it was reported that Bale had a chance to return to the Bernabeu after he went on loan with Tottenham Hotspur, it looks like the Welsh striker is still in any plan in the Spanish capital.
- Bayern Munich have confirmed that Eric Maxim Schubo-Motin has renewed his contract for a two-year contract, cementing his position as Lewandowski's replacement. After his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired, Jopo Motin joined Bayern on a free transfer for a one-season period. The Cameroon striker scored three goals in 22 Bundesliga appearances but won applause after Polish striker Lewandowski was injured in the Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain.
