Because during college, he filmed two episodes of CCTV's TV series "Once Upon a Time We Were Young" and got paid 160 yuan. In the years after graduating from university, Wu Jing'an mainly shaped farmers. Although he did not work as a farmer for a day, he portrayed the simplicity, kindness and vicissitudes of farmers. During this period, his main representative works include "Ploughing Seed", "Gambler", "Cangsheng", etc., and the media described him as "China's first farmer".
