From July 18 to August 30, the team members actively visited and conducted in-depth exchanges with farmers, comprehensively analyzed the use of pesticides, residues and environmental pollution in rural areas, and determined to seek a combination of biological control and chemical control.
The team members conducted research in the nearby villages in three times, so that the activities could be carried out smoothly, and the members had a detailed understanding of the geographical location, customs and customs of the village, business industries, etc. in advance, designed questionnaires, and held publicity meetings on how to use pesticides more safely and environmentally friendly.
The agricultural materials industry is an important industry in agricultural production, in fact, agricultural materials retail stores play a dual role of sales of agricultural materials and agricultural technology service technicians, which plays a pivotal role in the development of rural agriculture. The six members first went to the village's plant protection station and pesticide station to visit the shopkeepers, understand how farmers choose and buy pesticides, use more pesticides and the advantages and pollution of various pesticides, and distribute questionnaires to them. Uncle Wang of Yin Gezhuang Village told the team leader, "The supply and demand of pesticides in China has gradually changed from tight balance to loose balance, and the purchasing power of the market has declined, which is inseparable from the improvement of people's environmental awareness and the development of green agriculture." Biopesticides have the characteristics of safety, environmental protection, no residues, etc., and are the development trend of pesticide products in the future.
The members went to the fields and went to the homes of the villagers to exchange views on pesticide storage, pesticide use and residues, pesticide treatment and other issues. The villagers took time out of their busy schedules to warmly receive the members, and they said that some local people do not attach great importance to the pesticide problem, and there are even some pesticide abuses, and when the prevention and control effect is not good, they increase the amount of pesticides, forming a vicious circle. Local villagers also showed the members of the sprayer and other pesticide equipment, because most of the villagers are older, rarely read the instructions when using, resulting in irregular use methods, inadequate protective measures, direct physical contact with pesticides, causing damage to their own health. In the exchange, the members also found that the villagers have great problems in the pertinence of pesticide use, which pesticide has a good insecticidal effect to use which one, can not be the right medicine. During the visit, the members found that there were directly discarded pesticide bottles and pesticide packaging bags by the river and the side of the field in the village, and these improperly disposed of packaging once again had a negative impact on the ecosystem.

In addition, the team members made full use of WeChat, QQ and other ways to conduct online research on pesticide-related issues, and the team collected a total of 147 questionnaires. The members conducted a detailed analysis of the survey data, and from the overall survey results, most people have a certain degree of understanding of pesticide knowledge, but the overall situation is not optimistic. Members made corresponding publicity drafts based on the feedback problems, preached door by door in the village, and used practical actions to show the villagers how to use pesticides and utensils correctly, what protective measures should be taken in the process of use, and strive to normalize standardized operations. In this lecture, the members patiently and carefully explained the problem of pesticide abuse leading to the resistance of some pests, and strengthened the villagers' understanding of the phenomenon of pesticide enrichment in the food chain.

The members also started from their own professions and put forward a series of reference suggestions for theoretical support according to the help of professional guidance teachers, in order to truly improve the problem of pesticides in rural areas.
As an important means of production for agricultural production, the indispensable material for reducing the loss of agricultural products, the use of pesticides has greatly improved production efficiency and agricultural productivity, but the irrational use exposed in the process of use has caused the destruction of the ecological environment and thereby endangering human health.
