Carrying out after-school services in primary and secondary schools is an important way to implement the fundamental task of Lide Shuren and the requirements of "double reduction", an important measure to enhance the ability of education services, effectively reduce the burden on parents, and promote the healthy growth of students' physical and mental health, and a people's livelihood project to further enhance the people's sense of education and happiness.
The after-school service of Baidao No.1 Branch School, a principal in Nanjing, Heping District, Shenyang City, takes the in-depth implementation of the five management as the criterion and follows two principles, one is to fully meet the comprehensive growth requirements and parents' needs that meet the age characteristics of primary school students, that is, to complete homework in school and expand quality, reduce parents' homework anxiety, and reduce the family's demand for high-priced training outside the school; second, we must consider the needs of teachers and students' lives, that is, to solve the problem of time arrangement and dinner.
In this work, we used the entire holiday to carry out comprehensive overall planning, and the school set up a double reduction office at the beginning of the holiday, with a special person in charge and equipped with two specialists. Before the introduction of the plan, we have repeatedly solicited needs from parents, such as dinner opening time, price, dishes, such as the after-school service courses that the school can provide and students need, the time of custody services, etc., and the scientific feasibility analysis of all the needs of parents, and finally formed the implementation plan of the school's after-school service. And to achieve the overall implementation of various departments, to ensure that the first day of classes on September 1.

According to the actual needs, our school has introduced a total of 13 external institutions and 26 professional teachers. The level of management is related to the success or failure of after-school services. After-school service work has a high degree of concern among the masses, and it is necessary to strictly follow the policy requirements, adhere to the standard "scale", and improve the service "temperature".
Positive guidance in place. The school conscientiously implements the target requirements of "doing its best to make students willing to stay in school to participate in after-school services" put forward by the Ministry of Education, fully respects the wishes of students and parents, wins the trust of parents with high-quality after-school services, attracts students to "return", and never forces or disguises students to participate in after-school services in any form. According to the latest questionnaire feedback, the number of returning students continued to increase significantly in October. Parents of our students voluntarily choose after-school services for their children according to the actual situation. In the morning, some parents send their children to school early because of work needs, and there are caregivers in the school at 6:30 and start training. After-school services between 15:30-16:50 and 16:50-18:50 have been chosen by many parents. Currently, more than 800 students are involved in after-school services this semester, or about a third of the total. The school has achieved zero complaints about after-school services. After the recent survey data came out in October, we were pleased to find that more than half of the children of the students returned to school in October to participate in the personalized after-school curriculum service.
Time management is effectively connected in place. The Ministry of Education has clearly stated that "after-school services should be connected with the normal local off-hours in terms of time arrangement." It is necessary to ensure after-school service time and completely solve the "four-and-a-half" problem of unattended after-school care. Our school comprehensively considers the situation of parent pick-up and drop-off and evening peak peak, and sets two service end times for personalized courses, the first period is 17:50; The second session is 18:50, which is chosen by parents and students. The custody service implements a purely flexible school departure system to achieve "seamless docking" with parents to pick up their children after work. For some needs to pick up children later, we also set up a one-person-one case to implement relay custody services to ensure the humanization of custody services through the relay method of duty teachers - shift leaders - security personnel.
At the beginning of this summer, our school launched holiday hosting, the new form of many parents in the "wait-and-see" state, the first day of holiday hosting the school only accepted 4 students, the second day of 7, to the end of the summer, the holiday hosting has more than 200 people involved. At the beginning of the new semester, we launched a weekend two-day care service, which is aimed at families with rigid service needs, although there are not many students participating, but as long as one student participates, we will take it 100% seriously.
Caring service in place. In terms of how to put after-school services in place, the school starts with three meals a day. The meals of students in school time are also an important aspect of the consideration of many parents, and our school has changed from the original two meals a day to the school providing "three meals a day" this semester. This not only solves the worries of parents, looking forward to the cultivation of children from interests to strengths in school, but also hopes to develop morally, intellectually, physically, and aesthetically in schools.
Strict management in place. Adhere to safety first, and establish a safe operation mechanism of "leadership with shifts, middle-level duty, logistics services, and safety guarantees". Strictly implement attendance, supervision, handover systems and emergency plans, formulate bad weather release plans, and allocate sufficient service teachers to ensure that students are safe and parents can rest assured. At the same time, strict fund management. After-school service fees are included in the unified management of the school's finances, and the expenditure standards are reasonably determined, settled according to the facts, and the expenditure is listed according to the actual situation, and is regularly publicly announced. The charging standard is never allowed to exceed the specified maximum price, and it is not exceeded the range and overtime charge, which is the bottom line and the red line.
In the next step, our school will also make unremitting efforts to normalize and standardize after-school service work.
