The Fujian opera "Rhododendron Mountain" presents the noble character of the revolutionary ancestors who are not afraid of life and death and who are firm in their ideals and beliefs.
"Rhododendron Mountain" tells that in 1928, under the influence of the Autumn Harvest Uprising, a peasant self-defense army on the border of Xianggan and Gansu rose up, rose three times, and was on the verge of failure. Finally, under the leadership of the Party, it won victory, was reorganized into the Workers' and Peasants' Revolutionary Army, and went to Jinggangshan to meet the main force of the Red Army.
Most of the heroines of that era were more neutral, and even the heroines of "Harbor" were almost masculine, so the heroine with the most feminine euphemisms in a specific era was Ke Xiang of "Cuckoo Mountain".

The Fujian opera "Du Juan Shan" is adapted from the Peking opera "Du Juan Shan", which tells that during the Great Revolution, the landlords' armed forces arrested Ke Xiang, a party representative sent from the Jinggangshan base area, and the peasant self-defense army robbed the law field to rescue the strong and indomitable Ke Xiang to go up the mountain.
