The free multimedia festival will feature Amanda Parr's largest art installation, Lost, a legendary work of art never seen before.
In Paler's global installations, "Lost" was created to celebrate and protect nature. Featuring oversized extinct or endangered plants, the pieces were built by nylon 210D with stunning illuminated LED lights and inflated using a continuous blower.

Artist Amanda Parer says she is showing the world a countdown to her work Beyond the Sand. Bringing my creative vision to life through huge inflatable designs and vibrant LED colors.
The exhibition will immerse the viewer in the beautiful forms and vitality of nature, using oversized plants, designed to go beyond the organic growth of the Sand Arts Festival, allowing the audience to explore their relationship with nature and showcasing the wonders of their beautiful forms.
Gold Coast Arts Festival Director Mark Duckworth said ensuring such an influential voice premiered in the world of Australia and the global arts community turned surfers paradise's waterfront into a fascinating gallery of colour, action and music. Tourists from all over the country will be delighted to visit outside the beach.
Exhibiting these works on the waterfront will play a vital role in transforming Surfers Paradise into a waterfront gallery.
Previously known as Sand Safari, the reimagined festival transcends the existing eight large-scale installations, with unique artworks delivered by up-and-coming artists and events and studios. The event will also feature the annual Australian Sand Sculpture Championships, performances and touring entertainment.
From 13 to 21 March, it will be set up in Surfers Paradise to transform the Gold Coast's waterfront into a vibrant floral wonderland. The huge installations and activations beyond the beach will attract the attention of social media connoisseurs for any post and unique social media opportunity where the audience is fully immersed in the art celebrations.
