Ministry of Commerce: Wholesale pork prices rose 9.7% month-on-month last week for two consecutive weeks

Specifically, grain and oil prices rose slightly last week, of which the wholesale prices of soybean oil, rapeseed oil, peanut oil and flour rose by 1.4%, 1%, 0.6% and 0.2% respectively, and the wholesale price of rice was flat.

The average wholesale price of 30 kinds of vegetables was 5.62 yuan per kilogram, up 12%, of which the wholesale prices of broccoli, eggplant and cauliflower rose by 26.8%, 24.7% and 24.6% respectively. The average wholesale price of the six fruits rose slightly, with the wholesale prices of watermelon, citrus and apple rising by 7.6%, 1.4% and 0.6% respectively.

Meat prices rose overall, of which the wholesale price of pork was 19.47 yuan per kilogram, up 9.7%, and the wholesale price of beef and mutton rose by 0.4% and 0.2% respectively.

The price of poultry products has risen, with the wholesale prices of eggs and white chickens rising by 3.3% and 1.1% respectively. The prices of aquatic products declined slightly, with wholesale prices of grass carp, crucian carp and carp falling by 1.4%, 1.4% and 0.9% respectively.
