Born in 1970, Yang Mingguo is a village doctor in Tujing Township, Zhong County, Chongqing. Tujing Township many left-behind elderly villagers suffer from hypertension, diabetes, coronary heart disease and other chronic diseases, Yang Ming Congress regularly follow up these patients into the home, encounter some elderly patients with inconvenient legs and feet, Yang Ming Congress himself drove them to the health station for treatment. In addition, he and his colleagues also maintain the electronic file of villagers' health information, and regularly hold health knowledge lectures and medical knowledge publicity.
Sometimes, after Yang Mingguo followed up with the sick elderly, the old people would give him the vegetables they planted or the snacks they made, and he would quietly leave a little money after receiving it every time.
Since practicing medicine, Yang Mingguo, who is not in a good economic situation, often pays for poor patients out of his own pocket, and has cooked and fed more than 300 elderly patients. In September this year, he was named "Chongqing Helping Others and Good People".
"I often feel very happy, I have been practicing medicine ever since, I have insisted on doing what I want, and these elderly patients regard me as their children." Talking about the work done over the years, Yang Mingguo is very proud.
