On May 17th, the 4-day third "Shennongjia National Park Cup" bird watching competition came to an end. During the event, nearly 140 people from 36 bird watching teams from all over the country stepped into meadows, through shrublands and into dense forests, and a total of 248 effective bird species were recorded. Among them, there are 8 new record species of Shennongjia, including heterochromatic tree warbler, Yunnan willow warbler, pale eyebrow willow warbler, Emei willow warbler, black-throated songbird, red-tailed songbird, Ge's rock bunting, and Sichuan short-winged warbler, and black-throated songbird and heterochromatic tree warbler are new record species of birds in Hubei Province.
