The Seminar on China's Science Fiction Industry and the Launching Ceremony of the 2022 China (Nanjing) Science Fiction Exhibition were held

On October 23, the China Science Fiction Industry Seminar and the Launching Ceremony of the 2022 China (Nanjing) Science Fiction Exhibition jointly sponsored by the Provincial Science Writers Association, the Provincial International Science and Technology Exchange and Cooperation Center, the Provincial Filmmakers Association, and the Provincial Science and Education Film and Television Association were successfully held in Nanjing Xinzhuang International Exhibition Center.

Zhou Jingshan, member of the party group and secretary general of the Provincial Science and Technology Association, delivered an opening speech, reviewing the good development of the science fiction industry in our province in recent years, pointing out that data technology is leading a new round of scientific and technological innovation, and the science science fiction industry will experience technological empowerment and new fission in terms of product form, management mode, operation means, value creation, etc. Science and technology is the power engine to rejuvenate culture, science fiction is the future insight to show the charm of science popularization, the organic combination of science and culture, the deep integration of science and science fiction will highlight the charm of science in the new era.

Zhang Jie, deputy secretary-general of the Provincial Association of Popular Science Writers, Wang Yanzhong, a young science fiction writer, Professor Deng Huan, director of the Department of Environmental Science of Nanjing Normal University, and Yu Yong, director of the Theoretical Work Committee of the Provincial Filmmakers Association, made keynote speeches. Through original videos, the seminar paid tribute to veteran recruits from various fronts such as Chinese science fiction films, Chinese original science popularization design and Chinese science education, and invited Ma Junqin, the heroine of China's first science fiction film, as a special guest to tell the secrets of the film crew of "Dead Light on Coral Island" that year. Yu Yong, director of the Theoretical Work Committee of the Provincial Filmmakers Association, Professor Duan Qijun of the School of Design Art and Media of Nanjing University of Science and Technology, and Wang Cui, director of the teaching department of Nanjing Mechanics Primary School, shared their unique thoughts on the science fiction creation profession around the specialized field. Experts such as Zhang Jingshanran of Zhiyin Drama Guest, Zhou Kai, Director of the Creative Industry Research Center of Nanjing University, and Professor Zhao Jincai of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics respectively gave lectures on the development and prospects of the science fiction industry.

At the seminar, the China (Nanjing) Science Fiction Industry Alliance was officially established and announced that the science fiction exhibition was officially opened. Professor Wang Xiaoxian of the School of Design, Art and Media of Nanjing University of Science and Technology read out the goals and tasks of the Alliance on behalf of the representative. Mr. Zhong Hongyu, the representative of the industry alliance, made a statement of the goals of the 2022 China (Nanjing) Science Fiction Exhibition. Cultural and creative designer Huang Ying presented the alliance with cultural and creative products developed with the concept of "water droplets" in the "Three-Body" novel. Mr. Chen Junyu, an artist in the United States, presented the illustration work "Moon" to the representatives of the Organizing Committee of the Science Fiction Exhibition.

More than 200 offline experts and teachers and students from colleges and universities, primary and secondary schools participated in the seminar and witnessed the opening of this year's science fiction exhibition.
