In the summer, Heron Island ushers in a new night amid the afterglow of the setting sun and the blooming phoenix flowers.

"The flag that flutters in the wind, we hold you, and lifting you is lifting ourselves." On the evening of June 11, He Weijun, an advanced individual in the construction of professional ethics for employees and a worker at the State-owned Forest Farm in Taoyuan, Datian, Fujian Province, dressed in "camouflage green," stood in the center of the Wuyi Square of the Workers' Cultural Palace in Xiamen City, together with representatives of outstanding Communist Party members from all over Fujian. For the first time in their lives, the workers in this big mountain stood on a bright and beautiful stage and became the "staff leader" in the spotlight.

Behind He Weijun is a stage background in the shape of a giant party flag, and 10 light strips extend to the audience area from this starting point, connecting the "staff leading readers" with more than 2,700 employee representatives from all walks of life.

On this day, the "Always Follow the Party" organized by the Fujian Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, the Propaganda Department of the Xiamen Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the Xiamen Federation of Trade Unions, a large-scale red classic recitation activity for Fujian workers to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the opening ceremony of the Sixth Fujian Provincial Workers' Cultural Festival, were solemnly held, and the staff and workers of various industries celebrated the centenary of the founding of the party with 25 red songs and 27 classic recitations. Ding Wenqing, secretary of the party group and vice chairman of the Fujian Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, Ni Chao, member of the Standing Committee of the Xiamen Municipal Party Committee and chairman of the Xiamen Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, and Huang Xiaozhou, vice mayor of Xiamen, attended the event.

1 SAR Model Labor Party Member Delegation, 1 100-member Group of Party Members of the Same Party Age as the SAR, 2 100-member Dance Troupe, 8 Staff Recitation Troupe, 18 Staff-Member 100-Member Choir... The thousand-square-meter Wuyi Square has become a stage for thousands of workers.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Xiamen Special Economic Zone. Since March, the Xiamen Federation of Trade Unions has launched the "Fiery July" in more than 400 grass-roots staff bookstores in the city. GongYue led the reading of the "Red Classics" and formed a variety of forms of "100 Employee Groups".

Chen Ziqiang, a retired employee of Fujian Tobacco with 40 years of party experience, became one of the first batch of members to "join the regiment". He stood in the phalanx of the 100-man regiment and led all the staff to relive the oath of joining the party. Having worked as a workshop apprentice, a tobacco worker, a car blocker, and a mechanic, he has personally experienced the stormy journey of reform and opening up, and has also witnessed the development and changes of Xiamen. "The times have given us a bigger stage." He sighed, "Tonight, I, an old party member, saw more than 2,700 shining workers under the party flag!" ”

In the labor model phalanx, the corner of Chen Miaohua, the head of the sanitation team of Donghu Street in Haicang District, flashed in the corner of his eyes. She took the hand of her co-worker Cai Yueying and sang "Without the Communist Party, There Would Be No New China", but the tears in her eyes were too late to wipe away.

On July 1, 1993, she swore an honorable oath to join the party with more than a dozen textile workers in the Xinglin Textile Factory, and the workers sang the song together on the same day. Over the years, whenever she relived the oath of joining the party and heard the melody of "Without the Communist Party, There Would Be No New China", she would always involuntarily see the scene of her youth in front of her eyes. She told reporters: "Before going on stage, I was afraid that I would not be angry, and I was cleaning on the road these days, so I used this song as the background music of my mobile phone." It can be seen that so many people, tears are disobedience. ”

After the performance, Huang Yuanwei, a shield technician from China Railway Strait Construction Group Co., Ltd., and his co-workers took a shuttle bus back to the Xiamen Rail Line 6 project site in Haicang District. It was 11 o'clock at night when he returned to the construction site, and before he could return to the dormitory, he "plunged" into the control room 17 meters underground, and what awaited him was 24-hour uninterrupted shield operation.

Pitch angle, roll angle, penetration... In the underground space, the roar of shield operations echoed. Huang Yuanwei stared at the shield monitoring parameters that were constantly flashing on the screen, and told reporters: "My ears will still ring out the songs on the stage from time to time, as if the performance is not over." ”

The dark blue overalls on his body are both overalls and performance uniforms, and they still have sweat stains left by stage performances. He laughed and said, "This is proof that we have flashed the light." ”
