In fact, the influence of Guangdong music spread throughout the north and south of the great river, with Guangzhou, Shanghai and Hong Kong as the center, radiating to other regions such as Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangxi, Northeast China and other places, with a wide audience, and also enjoyed a high reputation in Yan'an, the holy land of revolution before the founding of the People's Republic of China.
According to written records, at that time, the "Shaanxi North Public School" (now the Southwest University of Political Science and Law) would perform Cantonese music for the military and civilians every weekend in the form of a party, and its strong Lingnan characteristics were welcomed by the local military and civilians. At that time, Commander-in-Chief Zhu De also personally played the yangqin and harmonica and played "Zhaojun Grievances", "Little Peach Red", "Midnight Distant Sound of Iron Horses", "Hungry Horse Rattles" and other songs together with the "Guangdong Music" small band in Yan'an at that time; Ye Jianying, chief of staff, could also skillfully play Cantonese music with the Yangqin.
Fang Jinlong revealed that he wrote a song "Ta Ying Cantonese Rhyme" specifically for this concert, which tells the story of the homesickness expressed by the vast number of military and civilians with Cantonese music during the Yan'an period during that particularly difficult day.
As for "green", Fang Jinlong lamented that more than 100 years ago, Guangdong people were quite wise, and a large number of classic works such as "Rain Hit Basho", "Pinghu Autumn Moon", "Bird Throwing Forest", "Spring Head Field", etc., all reflected the theme of green water and green mountains.
"Fang" dialect and Cantonese cross-talk, how to create an atmosphere?
Another highlight of the concert was Fang Jinlong, who spoke "Fang" and Wong Chun-ying, who spoke Cantonese. For the first time, two humorous artists collaborate across borders.

Fang Jinlong has set foot in Guangdong since 1988 and has been rooted in Lingnan for many years.
