In order to achieve high-quality development of hospitals led by science and technology, project declaration drives discipline development and talent training. On October 20, 2021, the Capital Institute of Pediatrics organized the national natural science foundation application work and the 2022 national natural science foundation application guidance expert appointment ceremony, which was attended by deputy director Tai Jun, director of the science and technology department Li Xiaohui and more than 100 scientific research backbones of various departments.
Deputy Director Tai Jun said at the meeting that our institute has enhanced the communication between scientific researchers and clinical personnel through the appointment of academic guidance experts for the National Natural Declaration Project and the one-on-one counseling mode in the form of small groups, and the collision of academic ideas has produced scientific research inspiration and ideas, and truly combined scientific research with clinical practice. Guided by clinical problems, we look for solutions through laboratory research. I hope that everyone will gain something in the training, improve some progress, and I wish you better results.
The leaders attach great importance to the declaration of national natural projects, provide necessary policy support and sufficient funding guarantees, and hope that everyone will cherish every training opportunity, be down-to-earth, and harvest better results through a solid research foundation and high-quality bidding.
Subsequently, the leaders of the institute issued academic guidance expert appointment certificates to 9 researchers, including Zhang Ting, Yuan Jing, Jiang Qian, Wang Shan, Wang Jianhua, Chen Xiaoli, Yin Delu, Wang Li and Zhang Qin.
At the training meeting, Professor Zhao Linqing, who successfully won the approved project in 2021, and Liao Zijun, who was successfully approved for the youth project, shared their application experience, providing valuable experience for those who are preparing to apply for the national nature project.
