The years do not live, the seasons are like a stream. 2020 is coming as scheduled, the great cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics has ushered in new development opportunities, and the industrious, brave, united and self-reliant Chinese people have also embarked on a new historical journey. 2020 is destined to be an extraordinary year and a landmark year. President Xi Jinping pointed out in his New Year's message that we will build a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way and achieve the first centenary goal. This is a loud declaration, the common long-cherished wish of countless sons and daughters of the Chinese nation, and even more a solemn promise made by our party to the people and to history, and a key step in realizing the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
Wind and rain, Yuru Yucheng. Since the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, the Communist Party of China has united and led the people of all ethnic groups to roll up their sleeves and work hard, stride forward with their heads held high, exert themselves to govern with great efforts, and continuously promote the historic achievements and historic changes in the cause of the Party and the country. In particular, China's national system and national governance system are more mature and stereotyped, not only deeply rooted in China's historical, cultural and social soil, but also absorb and learn from the achievements of other institutional civilizations with the arrogance of the sea, so that the wisdom and experience of national governance in ancient and modern China and abroad are unified in the great practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics, highlighting the remarkable advantages in many aspects, making us more firm in the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, theoretical self-confidence, institutional self-confidence, and cultural self-confidence, and building a well-off society in an all-round way. Writing a magnificent new chapter in the great cause of the new era is more confident.
History will only favor the firm, the enterprising, and the fighters, but will not wait for the hesitants, slackers, and fearful of difficulties. In the face of the mighty tide of the times and the people's ardent expectations for the prosperity and strength of the country, the rejuvenation of the nation, and the happiness of the people, we must not be complacent or lax in the slightest, but must lift our spirits, seize the opportunity, not rush into fantasies and make false noises, move forward with determination, and work hard to rejuvenate the country.
First, we must not forget our original intention, keep our mission in mind, always take the people's yearning for a better life as the goal of our party, and build a high-quality well-off society. The original intention and mission are the inexhaustible driving force for us to take the long march in the new era. The masses of the people are the source of our party's strength, the foundation of victory, and the foundation of our ruling power; building the party for the public good and ruling for the people is the original mission of our party that will always be remembered. Building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way, constantly guaranteeing and improving people's livelihood, enhancing the people's well-being, realizing the people's happiness, and allowing the broad masses of the people to share the fruits of reform and development are the concentrated embodiment of the superiority of the socialist system and an important embodiment of our party's adherence to the fundamental purpose of serving the people wholeheartedly. To build a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way, we must adhere to the people-centered development thinking, take deep root in the people, closely rely on the people, solidly promote the work of getting rid of poverty and removing the hat, and ensure that no one is left behind on the road to a well-off society in an all-round way; it is also necessary to maintain the high quality and high standard of a moderately prosperous society, so as to make the economy more developed, democracy more sound, science and education more progressive, culture more prosperous, society more harmonious, and the people's lives more solid.

The magnificent historical process not only makes us feel the weather of the times, the rapid changes of all things, and the taste of life, but also records and witnesses the pioneering and enterprising efforts of each and every one of us. At present, the Chinese nation is in a critical period of great rejuvenation, facing both unprecedented development opportunities and tests and challenges in many aspects.
