The Zhejiang Provincial Ocean Monitoring and Forecasting Center issued a storm surge level I alert at 10 o'clock on September 13:
Affected by Typhoon Candu No. 14 (strong typhoon level), it is expected that from noon today to noon tomorrow: there will be a storm increase of 140 to 220 cm along the coast of Jiaxing and Ningbo, and a storm increase of 120 to 200 cm along the Zhoushan coast. Jintang and Zhenhai stations will have a high tide level that exceeds the local red alert tide level; Dinghai and Beilun stations will have a high tide level that exceeds the local orange alert tide level; There will be a high tide level that exceeds the local blue alert tide level at Lipu, Zhapu, Daishan, Xiaoqushan, Changbai, Zhoushan, and Liuheng stations; and Hutoudu and Wushashan stations will have a high tide level that exceeds the local blue alert tide level.
