When preparing Ganoderma lucidum extract, the Ganoderma lucidum is dried and crushed, and 5 to 30 times of hot or warm water is added to the dry matter for leaching. The cyclodextrin used is produced from starch or hydrolysates of starch. Sweeteners, spices or natural juices can also be added as needed.

First, dry the reishi and cut into 5 mm thick slices. Then, add 60 ~ 80 °C warm water (100g of dried Ganoderma lucidum add 1 L of water), leach out for 1h, and use decanter to separate the residue. After crushing the residue, add water again (the same temperature as before) and leach out for 3h. Mix the two leachings to give 1 L of the leaching. Its concentration is 1 L of l of extract per 100 g of dried ganoderma lucidum extract. 0.5~3 L of leachate can also be extracted as needed.

Then, in 100 parts of the aqueous solution containing ganoderma lucidum leachate, add 2 to 5 parts of cyclodextrin. When the amount of addition is less than 2%, the bitter component in the leachable can retain more than 60%, and the bitter taste is heavy. When the amount added is more than 5%, although the extract is not bitter, it loses the characteristics of the Ganoderma lucidum drink. This product adds 2% to 5% cyclodextrin to the ganoderma lucidum extract to make a refreshing drink with a slight bitter taste of ganoderma lucidum.
