Recently, the "Don't Burn My Childhood" project launched by the China Social Welfare Foundation Burn Care Charity Fund was accused of making a set of donations in the "99 Charity Day" activity initiated by Tencent's public welfare platform, which triggered a lot of public opinion. Tencent Charity Platform, China Social Welfare Foundation and Burn Care Charity Fund all issued announcements to make statements and clarifications.
Although the matter itself is not big, and after clarification, it proves to be a false alarm, but the social attention is very high. On the one hand, this is naturally because of important "hot search" carriers such as Tencent's public welfare platform and China Social Welfare Foundation, and the deeper reason is that all sectors of society care about public welfare undertakings.
With the rapid, professional and popularization of the development of domestic volunteer actions, philanthropy and public welfare services, the concept and action of "public welfare" have been more prominent, and a large number of professional charities, foundations and social organizations have played an important role in epidemic prevention and disaster relief, health and sanitation, community services, rural revitalization and other services. There are similar explorations and attempts in the field of consumer rights protection, and after the spontaneous establishment of some non-profit organizations and mutual aid organizations, they provide consumers with public welfare services and support such as consumer guidance, consumer education and rights protection consultation, and take the initiative to speak out for social supervision and promote fairness and integrity.
It can be said that it is precisely because of the non-profit nature of public welfare services that all sectors of society are full of trust, active care and active support for this goodwill and purity. The majority of business operators and consumers donate money and materials, participate in volunteer services, and personally support and respond to various social welfare activities.
However, in recent years, some illegal social organizations and people with ulterior motives have carried out various marketing and profit-making activities to circle money and even defraud under the banner of public welfare and love, which is really indignant.
For example, many illegal social organizations, under the name of the world, the International, the United Nations, China, the central authorities, and so on, bear various names that seem to be official and authoritative cores, claiming that in order to promote international and domestic cultural exchanges, promote the development of economic and cultural industries, promote the integration of military and civilian industries, serve production and operation, and social and people's livelihood, they have carried out so-called propaganda activities and appraisal and commendation activities in a wide net, collecting service fees, management fees, and annual membership fees from consumers who are "hooked," or sending false award certificates, honorary certificates, and direct mail. Collect souvenirs, etc., and some can also make up "customized" certificates according to the characteristics and mentalities and needs of different objects. Behind the seeming enthusiasm, there is only one purpose, that is, to use the ignorance, eagerness or vanity of consumers to profit from it.

Some individuals and enterprises with ulterior motives have also set their sights on the "treasure land" of consumer rights protection and tried to "pan for gold" from it. A few days ago, a person in charge of an enterprise in Jinan, Shandong Province, called me to say that he received a sales call from Beijing, the other party claimed to be a public welfare organization in Beijing to carry out consumer rights protection services, and now sincerely recruits franchisees and partners, after joining, you can represent the organization in the province's business promotion activities, and enjoy 315 commercial resources and rights protection services and other rights, but need to pay 1 million yuan of franchise fees. The person in charge was more impressed, but suspected that there was deception and did not comment.
There are many similar situations. Some are the establishment of so-called rights protection networks, anti-counterfeiting alliances, integrity associations, etc. to engage in business activities, some set up so-called organizing committees, evaluation groups, etc. to issue awards, medals, etc. for honor customization, some are peddling products and services in the name of contact and cooperation promotion, collecting corporate membership fees or attracting consumers to buy, and some are under the pretext of cracking down on counterfeiting, exposure, etc. to require enterprises to give financial support and activity sponsorship, many enterprises and operators may be intimidated, or driven by the reputation of the business to actively choose to spend money. Many consumers also lack sufficient ability to identify and judge these institutions and the so-called 315 honors and integrity certifications.
In March this year, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the State Administration of Market Regulation and 22 other departments jointly issued the "", followed by the provincial civil affairs departments have also issued a number of action announcements to ban illegal social organizations. Continuous law enforcement actions, announcements and warnings have played a certain deterrent effect, but illegal social organizations and profit-making activities in the name of social organizations are still frequent, and some of them are easily revived although banned, and we must always be vigilant and resolutely crack down. Because a large number of facts have proved that those so-called institutions and individuals who claim to serve the vast number of operators and consumers are just disguised their profit-making purposes in the name of public welfare and "serve the renminbi".
Public welfare is not business, and rights protection is not power gain. In the face of illegal social organizations and social groups that carry out profit-making activities under the banner of "public welfare", whether they are operators, consumers, or relevant government departments and organizations, they should increase their vigilance, pay attention to screening, and timely verification, so as not to be deceived. Of course, the market economy needs to be guided and supervised, and in the joint efforts of all parties, the awareness of the legal system and the spirit of the contract are indispensable; whether the consumer environment can be assured of peace of mind is related to the rights and well-being of consumers, and to protect the rights and interests of consumers, the greatest fairness is integrity, and the best confidence is sincerity.
Finally, I hope that there are more genuine consumers in the market, who know how to better protect their legitimate rights and interests, not to be invaded by various fake and shoddy institutions and social organizations, and not to be confused by the honor and false propaganda of the cottage. It is also hoped that the majority of operators and merchants can have more integrity, sincerity and awe, take the initiative to assume social responsibility, and jointly create a safe, convenient and assured consumer environment.
The Way is:
Play back, make fun, don't joke about public welfare.
Kindness and sincerity must be taken care of, not to earn money.
Consumer rights protection a scale, who is good and who is bad who knows.
Counterfeiting and inferiority cannot be true, and good and evil will eventually be rewarded.
